Location was facing vineyards, quiet, beautiful views. Provisions for breakfast were excellent, plus a selection of own Walnut Block vineyard wines available to buy (very reasonable price and very enjoyable to drink). Well stocked kitchen for cooking enthusiasts. Accommodation was spacious and open plan, light and extremely comfortable. Hostess was extremely helpful prior to arrival, providing a long list of options when I contacted her. We ate in both nights and enjoyed the sunset and watching the courting wagtails flight. There's a great food store within 5 mins drive. 10 min. drive to Blenheim if needed.

This property sits in the middle of the vineyards. All within easy reach by car or taxi. It was tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed the fantastic views with sundowners each evening sitting outside the cottage. The smell of the lavender added to the mood. Afterwards we lit the stove inside. Jason came with more logs and kindling in case we ran out. At a reasonable extra cost we ordered a charcuterie platter one evening. It was generous in size and delicious. Fresh eggs from their own hens were provided in the cottage along with milk, bread, butter/jam/marmalade. On leaving we needed a large taxi for all our luggage for the airport which Jason organised for us the night before we left.

    A lot of thought has gone into making this a practical and attractive place to stay. The courtyard with outdoor furniture, BBQ and garden was great. Decoration was nice and not too fussy. Kitchen well equipped.

    The 2 bedroom apartment upstairs is absolutely stunning with nice little plaques from the near by airforce base in Woodburn, the beds were we'll set up and comfy, it had its own kitchen and utensils, we didn't eat there but the pub downstairs was very pleasant and had a great atmosphere and not overly loud

    Great location for the vineyards and can walk from the accommodation to lots of lovely wineries. The apartment was spacious and had a good kitchen set up. The room heater worked very well, and there is plenty of parking.
