This is an overall 'brilliant hotel-chalet' situated in a very beautiful valley of the Vorarlberg State. We have been visiting a lot of family hotels, but this 'Berghaus Schröcken' is simply the best we have ever stayed in. Especially the people working there are so different to other hotels or resorts: they have a smile on their face and you can see that they love doing their job... It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...

Apartment was very clean, even the kitchen utensils were exceptionally clean. Nadine did everything she could, to be able to give us the apartment before official check-in time. We have found everything we have needed in the apartment. Apartment is new and exceptionally big compared to other apartments we have stayed until now. It is very close to 2 ski lifts. Parking and ski room are definitely other advantages.

Everything was superb. Honestly, the apartment and the amenities look better in real life than in pictures. At first, we hesitated to book as we had concerns regarding the location and how easily it would be to get to the ski resort. However, the concerns were not justified, as it was only a 7-minute drive to the first ski lift and the public bus was just outside the apartment building, if you do not want to go with a car. Schroken is a small town in a very beautiful place. The town does not have many attractions, but it organizes riding with sleds (Tobogganing) every Wednesday and has a few restaurants and pubs. The host was amazing also. We got in the apartment very late in the evening, almost 00:00. She didn't have a problem with that, and you can always ask for help or additional coffee capsules.
