Moncton is always welcoming.
Moncton is always welcoming. Its clean and you can feel a great energy there. Everyone seems friendly and we love visiting. Typically we onky go for day trips but staying overnight is a special treat. Love the area! It's so easy to navigate and great shopping! We also enjoy eating there when we go. The variety of shopping options was great and mostly the people were friendly ..... however, as a mixed race couple, we did experience a few openly hostile, racist encounters which we found surprising in a so-called 1st world country ..... with the exception of Charlottetown PEI (where it was the same) cannot recall that we encountered similar to this level in Halifax, Fredericton, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Kelowna or Vancouver where we visited recently .....

The hotel allowed us to use a large common room for a private gathering one evening where we ordered in food and socialized. We travelled across Canada and this was one of 2 hotels/motels in 2 weeks that had coffee. We stayed here 4 nights. House keeping came whenever we asked. Clean towels daily. Wish we were there when the pool opened up but it was too early in the season. Maybe next time.
