Our room was nice and comfortable and the fireplace made it cosy. Thank you for making up the bed and placing a snack next to bed. Thank you for making our stay special by placing champagne in our room with strawberries dipped in chocolate was really sporecuated.

Absolutely adored our beautiful Jacuzzi Suite complete with fireplace, proper coffee, huge tub and creek view.
We loved sitting out by the campfire, reading in our room with the doors open and cooking dinner on the BBQ. It was such an easy 15 minute drive to Lake Louise too.
We were lucky enough to see a moose cow with her calf in the forest on our drive in. We were warned that bears had been in camp a few days before but we didn’t spot any during our stay.

I mean, its an amazing hotel in the most stunning of locations. Like a fairytale. So huge I was constantly getting lost. The staff were all fabulous. Get a lake view room, or whats the point!? Breakfast was of very good quality, as you would expect. Love the late check out time of 12 oclock, and the fact I could stay there for a few more hours after that to enjoy it.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. They gave me a great view from the cabin I was assigned. Other cabins views were not as good. A small seating area by the close river was beautiful. Breakfast was really nice.

Lake Louise is a beautiful picturesque area of Banff that is easily accessible off the Trans Canada not far from Calgary airport.
The town has limited accommodations and during peak season can be difficult to secure a room, so book early.
During the winter months the proximity of the town to the ski resorts is great, and the Moraine Lake snowshoe hike is beautiful.
For a closer and more convenient experience, skating and walking on Lake Louise is an amazing experience, and with the Chateau ice bar at your disposal, a perfect way to enjoy nature without needing to venture off the beaten path.
The Lake Louise Inn has a wonderful full service restaurant that serves some off the chart, top notch pizza's with local brews if that's your way to enjoy it.
Breakfast is available at most of the hotels I've stayed in, inquire when booking, it may be included with your stay.
Summer, well, it's busy...! Be prepared too wait in lineups, and book your spot for the tour bus to the lake early.

We did not realise that their was a shuttle bus to the ski resort. This would have been great for us, as the walk from the car park to the ski area is a considerable distance if you do not get there early.

I love Lake Louise, it is beautiful!
I love Lake Louise, it is beautiful! The village has a lot to offer any level tourist/traveler. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. The prices are quite high and really do need to be reduced in the tourist shops. It has world class skiing and unmatched natural beauty.

Amazing place to visit even in Winter (late Nov), all the christmas decorations were up, we still walked 1/2 way around the lake. Fairmont Chateu upgraded us to top floor lake view room, we watched the sun come up over Lake Louise....that was very special. Not much else to do in Lake Louise at winter if you don't ski. Lake Louise Village is nothing. Bow Valley Parkway is just beautiful. Do Johnston Canyon but definitely need cleats if there is snow on the ground as the paths become very slippery. Try get there at 10am or before as less people. By lunch time it is very busy.

The views are awesome so draws hordes of people. Found it to be extremely crowded. Must travel by bus to Lake Morraine and if you drive to Lake Louise, expect to pay $20 for parking. Free after 7:00 PM.

Give in and book the shuttle bus at least a few days ahead.
Give in and book the shuttle bus at least a few days ahead. Either that or plan on driving up to the lake before 8am - probably before 7am in July or August - if you hope to be able to park at the lake. Actually, book the shuttle bus anyway, even if you're going to try and park.
Really bad news is that there is a lack of publicly accessible facilities at the lake. Given how much the Chateau Lake Louise has been allowed to expand over the years, there really should be publicly accessible restaurants.
As for the scenery, well it is still a pretty place but with the glaciers almost gone it doesn't compare to what it was even 30 years ago. There are more beautiful places to go in Canada.
- Excellent service and quality of food in Lake Louise Inn restaurants (Explorer Lounge and breakfast buffet)
- Best relaxing possibilities in Hot Tub and swimming pool
- Parking lot in front of own apartment including personel guest ski locker
- Gazebo and Live Music on Saturdays
- Supermarket, additional restaurants, gas station and Cafe's only some metres away
- fantastic panorama in every line of sight
- Excellent, daily room service incl. starting of dishwasher, refill of kitchen utensils and garbage recycling
We loved our stay at Lake Louise Inn!
Beautiful property, loved our premium suite. the whole layout, bunkbeds, loft, 2 bathrooms! It was FANTASTIC, well equipped, super clean and very comfortable for our family of 4. The hot tubs were hot and always could find a spot to get in & enjoy every night after skiing!
We were a little disappointed in restaurant availability in peak season (Feb break) but the food was awesome when we did get in.
Our queen pet friendly suite (we didn’t bring pets) was renovated with modern furnishings and amenities. The bed was comfortable and it was great to have a sitting area and microwave/refrigerator/sink. The hot tub room was beautifully cedar panelled and clean. The lodge is in a perfect location for everything Lake Louise has to offer. Breakfast was hardy and a great start to a day of skiing. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We loved our stay at the Lake Louise Inn. There is such a nice bustling and happy atmosphere! Ski shuttle stops right in front of the property, nice hot tubs and pool, free lending of snowshoes, and a couple of decent restaurants. Comfortable and clean room, for excellent value. Professional and efficient staff, who know all area amenities and activities very well. Great value. Definitely would stay here again.
We booked 3 rooms with my family, all comfortable during the heat wave even with no AC or no fan. The hotel has a different vibe, it's old, rustic but has it's charm. It's like being inside a clue game they have dinning room, sitting room, courtyard, games room etc. The location is great, walking distance to the lake. The food at the restaurant are delicious,. Will stay again.
The hotel is set in a beautiful location with great access to the village. It is also easy to walk to Lake Louise from the Prost hotel (4km up hill).
The hotel feels very comfortable and the staff and great.
The rooms are big and the beds are really comfy. I also like that they all have balcony’s.
The post pub is also great - good food and selection of beverages.
Budget price you could find in area in travel peak season, compare hundreds dollars hotels and lodge surrounding. This one is choice for your budget for solo traveler, saved my money.
Kitchen is big and clean, complete kitchen ware for cook.
Lake Louise Village is not big, it's close to village center, walkable to grocery and shops.
We stayed in the fully renovated room with th excellent lightening system, comfortable place for cooking or heating up the food and easy access from the parking lot. The brekfast was surprisingly mainfold (english maffin, yogurt, fruits). If you like Lake Louise and Moraine lake, this is a nice hotel to stay.
Nice location near the creek with easy access to Lake Louise and all the hiking in the area. Cabins were well-stocked. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed. Wood burning stove was nice for cool mornings and fire pits by the creek were great for s’mores in the evening.
Great place to stay to see a unique treasure -Moraine Lake - without all the daytime crowds around. Nice cabins with wood fires and lovely views. The food was first class and although the accomodation is expensive, dinner was reasonably priced and a cooked breakfast is included.
Fantastic location deep in the park between Lake Louise and Banff. Cabins perched in idyllic spot on river, surrounded by peaks and forest. Fire pits by the river were a hit with the family, with logs supplied free and forks to toast smores. What more can you ask for!
What an incredible place!! Went for a girls trip and the view is stunning!! Every where you look you have amazing views. You could spend a week just in the hotel and on the trails that begin at the hotel. From canoeing, to dinner at Louiza we were SO impressed!
Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, breathtaking views of Lake Louise & mountains, had a delicious meal at Louiza Restaurant, comfortable bed, nice selection of in-room coffee & tea, Tesla charging stations in the garage.
Comfortable and quiet room, nice living room and good facilities (kitchen, lockers, laundry).
Useful information about the local bus to lake Louise (price: CAD 2), which stops just in front of the hostel.
It is a lovely hostel in a forest setting. A couple of wooden cabins, all very comfy and well-heated. The kitchen is well equipped and the common room has some books and games plus a lovely fire place.
Location is very good that is only 4 minites by drive to Lake Louise. And they also provide private shattle reservation to Lake Moraine! Staff in this hotel are very kind and friendly.
Staying at the Post Hotel is immersing yourself in luxury. It's an experience more than a stay and it brings back memories of winter holidays in Austria. Wonderful!
