Mysore has been completely changed, we haven't feel the old Attractions now in the city.. Not maintained properly, all historical places were loosing it's attractions. Now looks like money minded tourism. Only we enjoyed in two places one is Aquamarine and GRS fantasy park.

Mysore is a gem of a city in India.
Mysore is a gem of a city in India. The weather is usually much less extreme than other places in India. The people are friendly and there's lots to do. The palace is beautiful (especially on Sunday night when they light 10K lights for an hour), the catholic cathedral is very nice. The sacred Chamundi Hill is a must! Nandi Bull is on the other side of the hill and carved from a huge boulder. There is also lots of walking places and the Deveraja Market must not be missed for spices, flowers and lots of inexpensive interesting items including incense and jaggery. There is also lots of tailors, jewelry shopping and Mysore silk shops. The Southern Star is a great hotel there.

There is good food, southern Indian is my fav’ nice coffee, the beautiful maharajah palace and beautiful architecture, add the holy Chamundi Hill, both for an aerial view of the city and worship of mother Durga

This listing is obviously in India.
This listing is obviously in India.
I can't understand why it's listed with Booking, com as Jugglers Rest in Picton.
It's most confusing!
When you ring the contact number it's in India and the person that answers is very hard to understand and barely speaks English.
Personally I don't think Booking.com should have the property listed at all

I arrived at mysore by train from Bangalore and didn’t get to my hotel til around 13:30. Hotellier kindly provided a map and marked on it local places of interest, thinking this would be too late to visit the palace I went to the aquarium. The best thing about it was the entrance - makes for great photos.
Walking (with the aid of good old google) I came across the palace and couldn’t resist going in. Just 100inr - same price for everyone. I didn’t have to queue for more than a few minutes for a ticket at that time of day but there were still orderly queues getting around inside. I had plenty of time before closing at 17:30 so I achieved my purpose for visiting mysore earlier than expected.
Shoes are not allowed inside the palace so I’d recommend socks as 10s of thousands of people visit every week. The sheer opulence of the palace is something I’ve not seen anywhere else. I didn’t stay for the daily palace light show as I was tired out but I understand it’s quite something.
It’s not somewhere you’d find fine dining but the hotel I stayed at had a restaurant very nearby.
The Room size is so big (bigger than i expected). The Bed is comfort and cozy. The Bathroom is so big with bath tub that separate from the shower (this is so good). But there's no slipper in the room (if you can add in the amenities will be perfect). The Staffs are very polite, service-minded and friendly e.g. the reception, the housekeeper or even the guard at the front gate of the hotel etc. Highly recommend to stay in Mysore. I will definitely come back to stay here again. The breakfast is ok (not much variety but good enough to eat).
The room was spacious and clean. Since it was away from the main city, there was good parking space in front and around the hotel. Bed and towels were clean. Hot water was there.
The hotel lobby was pleasant and staff was very helpful.
The hotel is easy to locate as it is 1 minute walk from the main ring-road. Though you need a vehicle, there are stores and restaurants around the area within a radius of 1 to 2 kms. The hotel provides room service if you want to order coffee or food. Swiggy does deliver food from nearby area.
Rooms are clean and spacious and are based on Jungle theme. Every room is named after an animal found in the nearby Forest Reserves. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Airport and yet not too far from the city centre. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by greenery. There is ample parking on the road as well as in the basement. The breakfast spread was pretty good for the price that I paid. Do try their Kiwi mocktail (ordered separately in the evening). Probably the best I have ever had.
everything! the room and overall the hotel was cleaned.
the towels and the bed clothes were very fresh !
the restaurant was amazing and since the hotel is a bit
far from the city center , it was amazing for relax and
have a good rest. the gym was very good too - a lot
of machines and equipments . the staff were very gentil
and nice . I will repeat for sure ! the spa was amazing -
thanks Mrs Lakshmi, she did the best massage that I
got in India so far !
I have stayed at dozen of hotels. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff was incredibly helpful, extremely efficient and very hospitable. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Mysuru.
Thank you so much.
Location is near to Mysuru Junction Railway Station and City Centre Bus stand. Mysore Palace is also very near. All these three are within 5 minutes drive by auto. Room was clean and comfortable for 3 persons. Hotel ambiance from outside, reception and the corridor are very clean and impressive.
The location of the hotel was good and the view from our room was also nice. Service is decent and the food (both Buffett and in room dining) is good and cost effective. The hotel has a good travel desk that offers good transportation at fairly reasonable rates for commuting in and around Mysore.
This is the dream location for me to spend DUSHERA (Asthmi, Naumi and Dashmi) in Mysore, my bucket list. I am so grateful to all staff to make my stay memorable and I recommend this KSTDC MAYURA to anyone looking for stay in MYSORE #1 recommended 💖 FOOD was FRESHLY COOKED with BEST ingredients!
The location is on the outskirts of Mysore, hence pls avoid the hotel
There is no transport form the hotel to the city
The hotel doesn’t have a travel desk, they outsource to local desk where they will charge u more than twice of the cost
At last minute the receptionist asked that the booked apartment is not available and gave some alternative hotel rooms which we did not want. I was with my family on a weekend with limited other options, so had to find a stay outside Mysore.
Very nice and comfortable hotel. The location is the best in Mysore: close to different shops, bus station, tourist services and local sights. Although the street is very calm and quiet.
The room itself was comfy.
hotel location very nice big croud in hotel nice vew n beutiful place anione want stay mysore this is the best place over alll mysore .....staff very polite .... nice managemnt ...clllllean and neet rooms .....

The staff was very friendly. They catered to all of our needs. They were available on call immediately. Would stay here again if I visit Mysore again. Best thing is value for money.
