Matsushima Koumura se encuentra en Matsushima, a 10 km de Santuario Shiogama y a 24 km de Sendai City Community Support Center. This is such a hidden gem! The hotel is gorgeous, within easy walking distance to all the touristy spots, and the owners were sooo nice!

Historical Ryokan SENYUKAN está muy bien situado en el barrio de Owani Onsen, Ōwani, a 43 km de Parque arqueológico de Sannai-Maruyama, a 17 km de Castillo de Hirosaki y a 42 km de Sukayu Onsen. Exceptional service from manager and staff. We arrived after dinner time, and the manager, cheff and staff stayed on to serve us delicious food. Thank you very much. Will san New Zealand.

Tabinoyado Saikawa está en Kuroishi, a 33 km de Lago Towada, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

Kameya Hotel se encuentra en Tsuruoka, a 3,5 km de Acuario Kamo Aquarium, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín y parking privado gratis. Amazing history and gardens. Rooms were enormous, with open views of the beach and with a cedar bathtub fed by hot springs in the room.

Ichiraku tendo spa & brewery está en Tendō, a 30 km de Estación de esquí Zao Onsen, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The all-inclusive format is amazing. It felt like an immersive experience into Japanese culture and customs. The dinner was amazing and we truly enjoyed it. The possibility to use a private onsen was special.

Yuze Hotel está en Kazuno, en el barrio de Yuze Onsen. Este ryokan de 4 estrellas ofrece salón de uso común y habitaciones con aire acondicionado, wifi gratis y baño privado. This place! I cannot describe how amazing the room with private onsen is. Super spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view to the mountains. Breakfast and dinner were delicious (buffet style), enough vegetarian options. There's a free drink bar available for the afternoon/evening hours as well. I didn't use the public bath because they don't allow visible tattoo's though.

Takasagoya Ryokan está en Zao Onsen. Este ryokan de 3 estrellas ofrece restaurante y habitaciones con aire acondicionado, wifi gratis y baño compartido. La cocina es exquisita, me encantó y la disfruté muchísimo, tanto la cena como el desayuno. El trato del personal también súper amigable y atento y la ubicación a un par de minutos hablando de la parada de autobuses.

El Okawaso ofrece alojamiento en Aizuwakamatsu, a 13 km de Aizu Higashiyama Onsen, y cuenta con WiFi gratuita y restaurante. Todas las habitaciones de este ryokan tienen aire acondicionado y TV. el mejor alojamiento de toda nuestra estancia en japón, todo el hotel superó nuestras expectativas, y el onsen con reservación para acudir de manera privada fué sublime.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room. Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it! The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning. We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time.

Aoni Sanso está en Senboku, a 7,6 km de Termas de Nyuto, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. The dinners were delicious and outstanding. The private onsen can be booked for 50 minutes. It was great for a couple to share.
