Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. The service is awesome! All the staff, from the reception to the dining room, are extremely helpful and friendly. The room is spacious for even five people. Their onsens are well maintained and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast Kaiseki are beyond my expectations.

Shikinosato Hanamura se encuentra en Minamioguni, a 39 km de Monte Aso, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Room was very spacious. There were 3 heaters in the room, so definately warm enough to anyone's liking if you needed. Room onsen was nice. Food was in a private dining room for dinner and breakfast. There was a very nice lounge to relax in as well. There is a public cave onsen that was quite special. In winter, roads may have snow and need to be wary if driving in.

Syukubo Aso está en Aso, a 33 km de Estadio Egao Kenko de Kumamoto y a 42 km de Castillo de Kumamoto. The building was very beautiful, the meals were delicious, the private onsens were nice and we loved our room. We would have really liked to stay more than 1 day.

El Okyakuya, construido en 1722, está situado en el distrito histórico del distrito de Kurokawa Onsen. The staff was very attentive and took time to explain the ryokans layout as well as show us where everything is. The food was delicious and arranged beautifully. The portion size was just right. There are multiple baths which depending on the time switch between mens and womens baths. Soaking after a meal or right after waking up really heals your body and mind.

Minshuku Asogen está en Aso, a 29 km de Estadio Egao Kenko de Kumamoto y a 38 km de Castillo de Kumamoto. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. El alojamiento es fantástico, con un baño a parte de las habitaciones que puedes utilizar de forma privada para onsen. La recepción fue extraordinaria. Llegamos bastante tarde, no teníamos donde cenar, y llamaron a un restaurante cercano para que nos preparasen algo de comer. La habitaciones son muy amplías y con una decoración minimalista japonesa.

Hanare no Yado Hanagokoro está en Minamioguni, a 40 km de Monte Aso y a 49 km de Lago Kinrinko. Ofrece alojamiento con restaurante y parking privado gratis. Outstanding service, amazing food (dinner and breakfast included, both multi course exquisitely prepared works of art!) , facilities were lovely (private onsen), very comfortable bed, wonderful stay.

El Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan cuenta con 5 baños termales, entre los que se incluye un baño cueva de 30 metros de largo. Location. Stunning view and atmosphere. Sympathy from the staff. Kudos for Shujan for his kindness and informative interaction. Amazing food experience.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. The stay in the Kurokawa Onsen exceeded our expectations. We spent amazing 18 hours in the onsen. We had specious room with private onsen. We could also use the other onsens in the resort privately. Dinner was served in a private room. The serving, taste, presentation was of the level of Michelin restaurant. The staff pays attention of every detail. Definitely worth recommendation. We loved it!

El Hotel Yumeshizuku está situado en Minami Aso, en la región de Kumamoto, a 10 km de Naka-dake, y cuenta con baño termal y sauna. Everything was perfection - starting from my arrival, public bathhouse experience, the cozy room, delicious dinner and breakfast and very kind staff members. The view of Mt. Aso from the third floor lookout and the footbath area is impeccable. Also, much special thanks to Mr. Isao Tsugayasu, who was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout the stay! He truly made our experience at Yumeshizuku unforgettable. Thank you so much again for your kindness and hospitality. I look forward to my next stay at Yumeshizuku in the nearest future.

El Nanjoen está situado en el centro de la zona de Kurokawa Onsen y cuenta con un total de 8 baños termales cubiertos y al aire libre. We had a wonderful experience at Nanjoen...the Kaiseki dinner was fantastic, the staff was kind and helpful, location was terrific.
