Furthermore, when my mother accidentally left her trousers in the room, the staff promptly packed them in a lovely manner and provided excellent service. Highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel in Kyoto.

The staff are extremely helpful, be it with recommendations for restaurants or reservations. The Japanese breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a quiet side street about 15 minutes walk from the main train station. Bus and train are nearby. The private Onzen next to the bath room guarantees a relaxing break after a full day of sight seeing.

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Very convenient hotel with lovely staff. Special thanks to Pierre who gave me full guidance about the city. Hotel has great location not far from Gion district and Nishiki market. Breakfast was great.

Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Lovely family-run ryokan with a truly kind and charming owner. Good and tasty dinner on our first night. The breakfast was also very copious and impressive. First time i slept in a futon bed but it was surprisingly comfortable. We loved our stay here. It was also very well located.

Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. Amazing place to stay, extremely recommended. A really great experience in general - I stayed in one of the suites and could not have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay, only a short walk from Okunoin Cemetary and an easy walk to the rest of town. Very close to the bus stop from Koyasan Station. Staff were always helpful and the meals were unbelievably delicious and satisfying, even though I needed to ask for a soy-free modification. The best food I ate during my stay!

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. We only stayed one night but it was worth it. We were looking into a traditional Ryokan experience and that’s what we received. The complete staff was super kind, they welcomed us, received our bags before check in and later when we came up they welcomed us with tea and local sweets. In the night we had our kaiseki dinner (13 courses) it was a lot but definitely an experience to remember. Not good tho for sensitive paladars, be prepared to eat everything. The girl who served as our host was super nice and explained us everything. The private bath was also a highlight. We loved every second.
