Offering a shared lounge and inner courtyard view, Ito Ryokan is set in Tokyo, 200 metres from Revival Monument of Japanese Traditional Chinese Medicine and 200 metres from Amazake Yokocho Shopping Street. This 2-star ryokan offers full-day security and luggage storage space. The accommodation offers a concierge service and a housekeeping service for guests.

Popular points of interest near Ito Ryokan include Genyadana Monument, Sankatsu Yukata Museum and Koamicho Children's Park. Tokyo Haneda Airport is 20 km from the property. Ryokan is located in a very quiet neighborhood, local residential area. There are enough restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We looooved the Japanese breakfast prepared in ryokan. During the 2 days we stayed, every morning different breakfasts were prepared. The room is really clean and comfortable. The stuffs in Ryokan are all very helpful and kind.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The service is exceptional and remarkable, almost as exceptional and remarkable as the natural beauty of the place and the quality of the facilities.

Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. Family onsen rooms are a pleasant surprise to us. It allowed us to shower and onsen as a family. The restaurant staff were all so friendly and kind, and they always prepared baby chair and baby bowl and utensils for our toddler. The location is convenient as there is a combini nearby for snacks - the hotel has its own shop too. The room was spacious, though unlike other Ryokans I've stayed at, the mattresses didn't get put away during the day - no biggie though as we didn't spend much time in the room during the day.

Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors or in rooms with Western beds on wooden floors. A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. Great stay! Perfect location with pleasant and helpful staff. There’s also a fantastic local restaurant nearby.

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. The hotel itself is absolutely exceptional, and probably the most impressive luxury hotel I've ever stayed. If you enjoy the history exploration and the Japanese-western style, Fujiya definitely will be a great fit. The hotel finished its renovation 2 years ago and everything is in good condition. You can experience its glory and rich history since the majority of areas are free to explore for staying guests. (Do not miss its museum, library and garden. The swimming pool is a bit small, and personally I quite enjoyed its style.) In fact, my friends and I spent so much time exploring the hotel itself, the time spent in Fujiya hotel eventually became the highlight of our Hakone trip.

At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with a tatami and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The staff is great! The location is really pretty and well located on the west side of Tokyo. It’s really close to a JR and a metro station, there are many restaurants close by. It’s a family run business and they are amazing people. The rooms are very neatly kept - we stayed in both: private bathroom 1 night, shared bathroom 2 nights. I prefer private (but I guess this will be everyone LOL). The shared toilets, showers and washrooms are super clean and well kept

A 2-minute walk from Sendagi Subway Station, Japanese-style hotel Annex Katsutaro Ryokan features rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring and free Wi-Fi internet.

The air-conditioned rooms at Ryokan Annex Katsutaro feature Japanese futon bedding, and each has a TV and fridge. The attached bathroom includes a bathtub. Great location near Sendagi station and a walkable distance away from Nippori station. It's located in a residential area, just beside the Yanaka Ginza shopping street which has great food. It's also near the famed snake street and the Yanaka temples. There are also three convenience stores and two supermarkets right outside the ryokan. The ryokan owners are a friendly and helpful elderly couple. They provided enjoyable recommendations around the area. Western-style breakfast is served upon request and has to be made at least a day in advance. The room itself is spacious compared to other japanese business hotels as the futon doesn't take up as much space as a bed. The futon and duvet are also comfortable and provided enough warmth for a winter night. The ensuite bathroom and toilet are clean. Potable water flows from the toilet tap (guests should be aware that cloudy hot water from the tap is a result of trapped air bubbles and not contamination, thus should clear up after a few minutes). Wifi was strong and easy to use. Overall a comfortable and lovely stay! Highly recommended for anyone interested in a stay with local flavour.
