Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. The hotel is amazing! Very clean and cozy. Staff is extremely polite. I read in comments that it was the best guesthouse/hostel travellers stayed whenever before. So, I can confirm this! It really is!

Hakone Suimeiso is located a 3-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station and a 15-minute walk from Sounji Temple. It offers public hot-spring baths, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access.

Guest rooms offer both air-conditioning and heating facilities. Each room is equipped with a fridge, an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. The en suite bathroom comes with toiletries and a bathtub. The price discouraged me at first, but it was worth it. After walking every day, this was my break from it. Just laying in the private onsen on the balcony until dinner. Regarding the food. It was special. I had the steak set as I don't like seafood that much. Trust me when I say this, but you will not walk away hungry. Also, it is best not to eat before dinner. Head my warning because I did not. .

At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with a tatami and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The location of the ryokan is fantastic - very close to the station (Yamanote line), right next to a convenience store and a very nice riverside park. The staff is very friendly and the ryokan was extremely clean and well maintained, the tatami smelled brand new and the room had a very pleasant fresh wooden smell to it. This might become my new go-to place to stay in Tokyo.
