It had very beautiful rooms that are nice and spacious, and we had a view of Hiroshima from our room. The food was excellent and the futons soft. The public bath was also nice and clean with a good size. The transfer bus service is excellent and the staff is helpful. 10/10

Located in Miyajima with Five Storey Pagoda and Itsukushima Shrine nearby, Kinsuikan provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a lift and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation features luggage storage space and a housekeeping service for guests.

Guests at the ryokan can enjoy an Asian breakfast. A bar can be found on-site. Everything! Right from the reception, the amenities offered to the service of the staffs. Rooms were really clean and the in room dining is a must have. We booked the couple room with the en suite onsen and we can directly see the Torii gate from our room. The experience is exceptional. There is also access to the common area with many snacks and drinks provided. One of the most complete experience I have had in a hotel. The price might be on the steep end but definitely worth the experience!

Situated in Onomichi and only 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Suminoe Ryokan features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The 3-star ryokan has garden views and is 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The ryokan features family rooms. Beautiful Ryokan in an old traditional building with a, lovely garden, right next to the sea. I enjoyed my stay right from the start with the warm welcome at check-in (owner could speak some English - thank you). The room was like the photos promised, a cosy futon waiting for me (there was also a tasty lemon treat in the fridge). Although small, the bath was nice and I could relax after a day of cycling. Breakfast was also delicious. Next time, I'll book dinner as well.

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. The BEST! The spacious ryokan is equipped with 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, and 1 bathroom with a bidet, slippers and a washing machine. The ryokan offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. We loved everything about this property, it had everything we could need and so much more. The authenticity of the location and the attention to detail is amazing, really. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We couldn’t have hoped for a more authentic accommodation and regretted only staying for one night.

Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Japanese-style hotel Mizuhasou specialises in fresh seafood and exquisitely prepared local seasonal dishes. Meals are served at the dining room. Everything was perfect. The diner and japanese breakfast were surprising and really tasty. The host was really nice.

Rooms in the Annex include a private bathroom with a bath and toilet, while rooms in the historical Main Building and Cottage Annex have shared bathrooms and toilets. The Ryokan was an amazing traditional stay. Staff, food and facilities were amazing.
