The cabin was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The dinner both night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The lamb and the pasta were SOOOOO GOOD! Worth it every penny! The breakfast was also wonderful. Gudrun really cares about her visitors, and you can truly tell by the way she helps and is always available, plus she’s a wonderful cook! As a solo traveler, it truly made me feel like home, which honestly, was the best! I’ve been in Iceland for 2 weeks now and have stayed at 10 different places, this one has been BY FAR! The best! What a wonderful stay!

The most amazing view I have ever experienced in a hotel. We had a corner room with a view of the sea from 2 sides. It was incredible. Location is spectacular. Very peaceful and extremely remote. The hotel was comfortable, the room was spacious and uniquely oldy -worldy with monogrammed towels and luxurious bathrobes. It wasn’t cheap, but it was well worth it.

Very curtsious and helpful staff.
