We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The rooftop terrace had a nice view over Flores. And the restaurant and bakery that are part of the hotel are also great

Plenty of options for breakfast, specially the guatemalan breakfast was amazing. All the staff was very nice and ready to help us, even gave us some recommendations. The pool was comforting as the hotel was not fully booked during our stay, we had a lovely view of the sunset from the restaurant.

This charming hotel is located in northern Guatemala’s Petén Jungle, on the shores of Lake Petén. It offers fantastic trips to the Mayan Ruins of the Tikal National Park.

The location in a natural reserve with a private beach is exceptional. The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. Kevin Guerra from the reception orgsnized fantastic tours for my family, the service providers were excellent.

Everything was more than perfect! Location is great, amenities are close and rooms are nice with all you could need including enough electrical outlets and toiletries. What made this place stand out was Rosaria, the host. She answered all my questions (and I had a ton of them!), changed my reservation dates on short notice and, most of all, allowed me to keep my bags at the place for 5 whole days whilst I was doing a trek. After this, she kindly offered to wash my clothes, including my trekking boots which were all covered in mud and sweat. Truly an exceptional host!

Hotel Villa del Lago is located on the island of Flores, right on Lake Peten Itza. It features excellent lake views, in addition to free WiFi.
