I loved this accommodation: perfect location (walking distance to restaurants, very safe at night, view of Arenal volcano), great breakfast (three options), very helpful staff (arranging taxis, also I couldn't pay at check-in because my MasterCard was blocked by Worldline and they were very unstanding until the problem was solved), ...

The best hotel we’ve been in Costa Rica! Full of nature around and with a breathtaking volcano’s view, this place made our experience in La Fortuna even more amazing. Everything was very clean and spacious, with a great balcony facing the gardens and the volcano. The staff is super sweet and helpful, always smiling and willing to help.

It's such a beautiful place. We were in the main building which was very convenient. The rooms are ok, the pool and jacuzzi are great, breakfast is big and very good. The views are amazing, animals everywhere... It's a great place.

The minute that we entered the reception area we were greeted by the kindest sweetest staff ever !! It was truly amazing from beginning to end !! My friend was visiting from Canada and sadly needs a wheelchair to get around , I honestly could not believe how helpful and warm and kind everyone was ! The help we received regarding the wheelchair situation was top notch !!! When I say top notch I really mean it ! Our room was perfect as it was also wheelchair accessible!!! I was so worried if I was ever going to find a way to show my friend the Volcano while she was here , it was on the top of her list and if it where not for everyone at the Manoa Resort I don't think we could have done it ! Then let's talk about the spa " WOW " that's the only way to describe it ! We both had massages that sent us straight to heaven !!!! We were so relaxed we could barley keep our eyes open but we knew we had to get into the Mineral Springs lol well after that we ate a fabulous late lunch in the Springs area and ended up falling asleep at the table because we were so relaxed !!! I was so embarrassed hahaha ! I hope no one was looking lol ! Best Margiritas ever !!! I don't think either of us has ever had such an amazing sleep that night !!! Excellent breakfast buffet / everything you could ever want!!!! We had a perfect view of the Volcano from our room !!! We were only planning on staying 4 nights but because we just couldn't bring ourselves to pack our bags so we decided to stay another night !! Hahaha ! Then the most amazing gift came along , it was the Manager of the Lodge who was absolutely lovely in every way ! She was very pleased to hear we were staying another night and then she said she had been trying to make contact with us all day ? I'm thinking hummm , I couldn't figure out why ? Was it because we almost fell asleep in our lunches the day before Hahahaha!

Everything was AMAZING!!! Maravilloso, sin palavras. Es el paradiso! Un veradero paradiso. Piscinas maravillosas, limpio, poca gente, unas condiciones absolutamente inigualables! Superó todas mis expectativas. El bar tiene unas margaritas buenísimas y comida muy rica! Es una experiencia alucinante! Lo aconsejo a todo el mundo, es un 10/10!!!

second time in this place and we loved it! first time was 8yrs ago and it’s just got better!

The staff here were amazing. They were always so helpful and polite and very patient with explanations. Everyone customer-facing spoke excellent English. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a large shower. Each room stands alone and has a small table outside with a view of the volcano (can't miss it!). The best thing is the bar/spa/hots springs area... Wow! Awesome pools with hot spring water and mini waterfalls. There's loads of wildlife milling around (hundreds of birds and lizards including giant iguanas and we even saw armadillos).

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Really good gym. Perfect location for a La Fortuna stay.

Beautiful hotel, with the most stunning views across to volcano arenal. Felt incredibly special to stay there - and the staff were really really lovely. Food was great at the restaurant (we had a lunch and a dinner there - both excellent). Also beautiful gardens with frogs and animals and hummingbirds. Idyllic.

Everything. Lovely, friendly staff, beautiful accommodation in amazing gardens. A perfect stay (we can't wait to come back).
