Ideal for lake swimming; there were stone steps with a railing that helped you get into the water. The water was clean and very invigorating ( i.e. a little cold, but I like it this way). the lake was quickly becoming deep, allowing you to swim. We tried the Lido also, which is 2 minutes away by the free bus, but the lake there is very shallow. Breakfast was fantastic with alot of choice and didnt feel hurried to finish and leave. Staff were lovely and friendly and even let me borrow a charger for my phone as had the wrong one with me.
