Both the hotel and the room exceeded our expectations. It was in a great location in a very quiet spot, yet close to all of Basel's main attractions. The check-in and -out were very smooth and easy, and none of the staff could be faulted. (Damien on reception was particularly helpful.) Any queries we had were dealt with immediately and courteously. We really liked the interesting building, the various sitting areas with complimentary fruit and hot drinks, and the garden. We also loved the attention to detail in our apartment - beautiful lighting in the bedroom, eco-friendly toiletries, complimentary water bottles, an umbrella to use for rainy days, comfortable beds, plus a decent kitchen and bathroom.
