The riad is impeccably clean, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. Plus, the view from the rooftop is simply breathtaking! Make sure to book a cooking class with Omar during your stay he’s incredible! He’ll take you to the market to shop for the freshest ingredients, teach you about finding the best spices, and share fascinating insights into Moroccan history and traditions. Bensouda Riad’s rooftop terrace provides views of the medina. It has a traditional Moroccan tent where guests can relax and an upper terrace overlooking the Atlas Mountains. Guests also have access to the riad’s hammam, where beauty treatments and massages are available. We had a great experience! We were warmly welcomed by Dar Bensouda staff, even though I came at a ridiculous hour of 5am. The hotel is built inside a 16th century buidling — the ceilings and the decor are amazing, and the room stays cool during the day even without an AC. And it was nice to chill by the pool after the heat of the streets outside.
