What a great location. Beautiful converted mill in a pretty setting. Our room was huge, the bed was comfy, bathroom was very nice. Wish we had the chance to stay longer to explore. We'd love to come back.

    We stayed in a spa tub room with a king bed. The spa tub filled quickly and was big enough for two although I used it by myself. The bathroom was huge and I loved the shower! The shower was large with a large shower head. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were secured to the wall and tamper proof so I felt comfortable using them. The room was quiet and we did not hear any noise from above or outside but it was an off night and off season. The bed was comfortable as was the room temperature. We were able to check into the room a few minutes early.

    The food and music festival was so enjoyable that we plan to return. Their State fair is well worth a visit. We enjoyed The High Life Lounge which shares space with El Bait Shop for the friendly service, comfort food and expansive beer options and will return on our next trip.

    C.R. is very easy to travel thru using I-35 but plenty of reasons to sightsee and/or shop! Also close to Amana Colonies & Iowa City (U of Iowa) with better rates than I.C. on football w/e's! Just beware of the photo-enforced speed limit.

    Lot of fun actives to do with your family.

    Lot of fun actives to do with your family. Great food all around either in IA or just a 5min drove to Omaha. Very friendly folks and plenty of fun Casinos as well, a lot are even walking distance near the casino. Theater in the same parking lot as well. Just a fun time.

    They charged for early check in fee.

    They charged for early check in fee. Client did not tell us there was a fee. They charged me $100 for a set of towels they said was stained. I asked to see the towels, they said no. If u are being charged a $100 for a set of towels, a customer should be able to see why I had no choice but to stay another night, gave my card to agent and he said it was declined. I looked online at my acct and it was pending. I offered to show him And he said no

    Love variety of shopping available.

    Love variety of shopping available. Everything was easy to get to and within 15 minutes drive. Visited the Mississippi River Aquatic Museum. Had such great time. Learned alot of history on Dubuque and the exhibits. Want to go back with grandchildren one day soon.

    We were traveling for a long distance and the main reason I was unhappy is bc we couldn't shower. There wasn't water to our room.Made for an unpleasant road trip. Employees were wonderful to the best of there abilities and our room was perfectly clean.

    Ames is fully loaded for a city plenty of places to eat parks to enjoy ISU campus is the football stadium my wife and I were born and raised here and every time we come back there's so many changes but even the facilities and streets and Ames are in such good shape and good condition city of Ames does a great job

    Sioux City seems to be struggling...not much of a vibrant feel to it. Seems like many businesses are closing and many of the old neighborhoods are becoming a bit sketchy.We chuckle everything we go to the airport as the suffix is SUX.... The absolute best treat in SC(SUX) is the Oscar Carl Winery...it's a class act with great wines and fun people.

    Our family absolutely LOVES West Des Moines! We are located about 90 miles south in Bethany, MO and our family loves to come here to shop, spend the day, and partake in different activities such as games, Ax Throwing, Bowling, ect. It is a very clean and safe area and we like all the things that West Des Moines offers!

    It's a sweet little city, lovely campus, a variety of restaurants and eateries, beautiful shops and an outstanding library. As a writer, it is one of my favorite towns. And don't miss the beautiful Iowa-themed rest stops (if you travel I-80) or the nearby Hoover Historical site.
