- From US$473.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 341 reviewsPerfect for a family getaway while in the Keys during low season (we can imagine how crowded this must get), conveniently located mid-way if you consider taking a break before Key West or going back to Miami- the unit that we were staying at was fully renovated and facing the water, away from the main resort building- which allowed us to see beautiful sunsets in a perfectly quiet environment as well as conveniently located walking distance from one of the restaurant and the kids pool.Guest review byArborio RiceFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 163 reviewsThis resort has everything you might want in order to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The unit itself was decorated nicely, the linens were of high quality, the staff is expertly trained and skilled to give you quality attention without being intrusive. We hired the sunset sail. The skipper and first mate were very professional.Guest review bywalterUnited States

The pool and the surrounding area looked tempting, but unfortunately we didn't get to try it. We are sure that the view from the hotel is beautiful when the sun sets, but we still went a few steps to the pier.Guest review byMeriCroatia

It was our first time in Key West, we had a great time.
It was our first time in Key West, we had a great time. Eating & drinking can get expensive if you are not going during happy hour. Some of the restaurants put an automatic gratuity/service fee on the bill. I hate this sort of practice & will not return to that establishment. I guess September is off season, so a lot of places were closed. For being off season parking is horrible & parking lots are $6-$10 per hour.Guest review byErleneUnited States - 10.0
Key Largo is so beautiful.
Key Largo is so beautiful. It's the first Florida Key and if you don't want to drive the 100 miles you don't have too. It has everything the keys have to offer. Fishing, snorkeling, diving, kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, beautiful state park, bird sanctuary, nature trails, peace and serenity. Quiet!Guest review bySuzanne WagnerUnited States - 10.0

Marathon is centrally located in between Key Largo and Key West. It offers lots of great amenities. It’s also one of the better fishing spots. The 7 mile bridge offers lots of different type of fishing.Guest review byleighUnited States - 10.0
Quiet, serene town but had the trappings that we wanted.
Quiet, serene town but had the trappings that we wanted. The restaurant venues were good and not overpriced. The conveniences of a CVS/ Walgreens was present. I love Starbucks and there was one less than 10 minutes away. The local bar/restaurant was within walking distance on the same street. It was fine. All was fine. Just 95 degree balmy tepid temperatures are difficult, but that’s the Keys in the summertimeGuest review byBarbaraUnited States - 10.0

Tavernier is between Key Largo & Islamorada, so it is in a great location. It's an easy drive from Miami airport (just over one hour). It is about a 1 hr. 45 min. drive to Key West, which makes a great day trip (we did it twice during our eight-day stay. Our favorite dining spots are Capt. Craig's (superb chef-prepared meals), The Fish House (a Key Largo institution), and High Tide (best breakfast). For groceries there is Winn Dixie a few minutes from the apartment and Publix in Key Largo (we prefer Publix for better produce and selection). For activities, there's a small beach at Ocean Pointe which was nice, not too crowded, and relaxing. There is John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, only a few minutes away, with lots of activities like snorkeling, canoeing, paddle boarding, and glass bottom boat rides. We always take a half day of fishing with Capt. Jordan or Capt. Matt (Key Largo Fishing Adventures) and if you like to sky dive, go to Key West for a day and jump with one of the great instructors there. It's worth it! Getting around in the Keys is super easy - one road in (Overseas Hwy.) and marked by MM (mile markers) so everything is straight forward.Guest review byHereWeGoAgainUnited States - 6.0

The bungalows are fairly new, but are not well kept you can wipe the floor with a white washcloth damp in it and it’ll be completely dirty with just one wipe in the drawers. There were hair. The bed had a stain on the bed liner after removing the sheets and putting them in the shower for the maid to wash, they never washed that bedliner. It was completely discussed. It probably would’ve left if I didn’t known it was there. There were problems with the room as far as a globe on a light in the bathroom was broken. The room could’ve use a good cleaning, but as I said, it’s fairly new just not well. Maintained probably won’t look nice for long.Guest review byTodd - 10.0
Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant.
Big Pine key is the equivalent of a locals restaurant. Not too flashy, not too expensive. 1/2 a dozen places to eat. A full size grocery store. All of 25 miles from Key west. Great fishing. Plenty of key deer. Just a nice laid back spot in the lower keys.Guest review byMatthewUnited States - 10.0

Super clean room, comfortable beds, courteous staff and reasonably priced as compared to the other resorts and hotels in the area. The location was good for getting to Key West, only 20 mins away. there is a good size fridge in the room. the view is nice, but can't enjoy it outside because of the bugs. The Tiki bar is still closed. There's no coffee machine in the room, which really is inexcusable for me. To pay $800+ for 3 nights and have to go outside to the tiki bar to get coffee, no thanks! You need to bring your own hair conditioner, and body lotion. Bottom line, I would not recommend . I didn't eat in the restaurant there, but their menu is high priced. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was grungy looking.Guest review byLourdesUnited States - 10.0

Great location for fishing, boating and all other water sports. Hotel has great marina for easy access to ocean. Halfway between Marathon and Islamorada, both of which have many restaurants, grocery stores, bait and tackle shops, and even party boat fishing trips.Guest review byAnonymous
