Perfect location with hotel in higher ground. With no other hotels in the back and bearing rocky hill behind, it was quite and all the rooms seemed to have panoramic views. Also goreme city center was about 5 min away. Room and hospitality were perfect too.

We booked the hotel last minute and nevertheless, the team was able to organize for us the pick up transfer shuttle, air balloon ride, early check in, fantastic breakfast upon our arrival. It’s true that people make the places special, and Aza team indeed was incredible. Hotel was an amazing birthday treat for me. If you don’t have a lot of time in Kapadokya, stay in Aza Cave Hotel as it got it all. Breakfast was super delicious with amazing ambience, the hotel has a very photogenic pool, lots of pretty corners to snap some pretty images. Overall I am impressed beyond words.

The location was great. The views are great. There were several good restaurants around, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The sunset observatory is also very close. The room was warm and the bed was very comfortable. All of my friends who went with me were very satisfied. If I go to Goreme again, I will stay at this hotel.

My room was exceptional. I was upgraded and stayed in the Presidential Suite. It was clean, spacious, nicely furnished, had a great view, and very private. From the ceilings, to the floor, to the wall full of windows...it was truly beautiful. The hotel grounds were lovely, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and had many options for everyone. The staff helped me with booking a balloon ride, as well as transport to various locations and nighttime shows. They provided great shuttle service to and from the airport as well. They communicated with me promptly, and helped arrange for activities before I even arrived. They also helped me with anything I needed during the trip. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed interacting with them. Overall, this is a great hotel, and I recommend it.

It’s amazing place with amazing staff. The location of the hotel is great, next to view point, restaurants and shops, but with good distance from the main street. The staff is really welcoming, warm and helpful. Rooms are very clean, beds comfortable. Breakfasts are tasty and always fresh prepared.It is rather family hotel, everyone is very involved to make your stay exceptionally, especially lady from the reception. I really reccommend this hotel to everyone. The best choice.

I absolutely love, love, love our stay here. Service was top-notch from email communications, restaurant reservation requests, check-in, check-out, transfers within the property, and transfer to Urgup restaurants. Views from the Maide Restaurant and from any balcony places are simply stunning. The room is both authentic and modern. We booked a Prime Room which is already spacious for us. We are a couple travelling with 2 other couples.

The hotel is located outside of the nearest town in Ayvali village. Quiet surroundings. All the tour operators know the place and they provide pickup and drop services. The cave rooms were a different experience, the breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They made suggestions when our meal request was vegetarian and could manage to bring out few dishes for breakfast as well as for dinner

The room is very special and beautiful. Beautiful rooftop which has the best view of Cappadocia. We came here for pre wedding photo shooting. Unfortunately, there was no hot air balloon on the day we stayed. Staffs are nice. They arranged us to come again for the photo shooting on the next day which hot air balloon appeared. They also helped with the parking.

What an experience! I did a lot of research into the best cave hotels in the area and without a doubt I feel like it had the best views. Hotel staff were super chilled and accomodating . Super relaxing vibes. We went in December so was unfortunate to not see any ballooms but despite this, we loved the trip!

Stunning location, so much to see and do. Everybody we encountered could not have been more friendly or helpful . We booked our transfers, balloon trip, private red and green tours directly through our hotel. Everything was well organised.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

The old civilization and their remains is a main attraction.. the monk valley view is good and caves of this city is lovey to watch .. night dance live show is wonderful .. u can have a green tour there if u want to explore more about the city .. and hot air balloon is one of the main attraction of cappadocia…

Göreme is truly a one-of-a-kind destination. The landscapes are breathtaking—fairy chimneys, cave houses, and stunning sunrise views with hot air balloons make it feel like you're in another world. The town has a unique charm and is a great base for exploring Cappadocia, with lots of tour options, hikes, and viewpoints nearby. That said, it’s good to be aware of a few things. Tourist scams are common, especially with overpriced tours or pushy vendors. It's worth doing a bit of research or booking through reputable sources. Also, while the food is generally good, some restaurants are overpriced for what you get—clearly aimed at tourists. Overall, Göreme is absolutely worth visiting, just go with a bit of caution and plan ahead to avoid the usual tourist pitfalls.
