Indeed, the carpet is old, the bathroom is basic, but we had hot water & heating.
Before you guys, give little stars to this hotel, think that the other 4 stars hotels are much more expensive. The area itself is expensive.

IrelandI've never stayed somewhere so tranquil before. It was beautiful. So relaxing and cosy. We had a BBQ which we used to make dinner and had everything we needed in the tiny house. The bed was super comfortable and the place was cleaned to perfection. We would definitely stay again. Oh and the dog that lives on the grounds was the sweetest little guy I love him.

See the historical town center and go to long walks in the nature right in the city - either on Cozla hill, Pietricica hill or near the river Bistrita (highly recommended). Nice small town next to the Neamt old fortress, and in driving distance to around 20 old orthodox monasteries. Also the town of Romanian author Ion Creanga, in the Humulesti village nearby it’s his memorial house museum. For quick shopping you have local small shops and Lidl. Dămuc is located inside a valley with some lovely green landscape. There are a few hikes available which can be found online in this area. Durau is a good location for tourists who come to go hiking on the mountain trails on Mount Ceahlău. Accommodation in the area is very expensive compared to the services offered. The services offered by hoteliers and other service providers are disappointing compared to the price charged. uCompared to Vatea Dornei where the services are at least 2 times better than in Durău.
