- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsRohutu Fare is an exceptional, unique place to stay, nestled on the hill with magnificent views. We will never forget our stay here. From the moment we were welcomed at the jetty and driven to the hotel in a beautifully quirky Land Rover, to the moment we said our goodbyes to Nir at the end of our stay, this was a fabulous experience. We loved the attention to detail: the colonial-chic-meets-Polynesian-style that makes this place truly unforgettable. As vegetarians, having our own cooking facilities meant we didn’t need to stray far from our room of an evening (Bora Bora doesn’t cater too well for veggies), and we were able to rustle up tasty meals in our wonderfully comfortable bungalow. Nir is the most attentive and welcoming of hosts and we hope to return one day. We’d highly recommend Rohutu Fare to anyone looking for a luxury stay with a difference on Bora Bora.Guest review bySamNew Zealand
- From US$147.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 564 reviewsI liked everything about Sunset Hill Lodge! From the friendliness of the staff (Dolores and Gérard), to the excellent condition of everything in the unit (nothing broken, damaged, no duct tape or other temporary fixes), to the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, etc. It was all really well maintained and managed. Everything was clean and tidy. The appliances were relatively new (frost-free fridge/freezer, Bosch gas stove top) and worked great. Air conditioning worked great. Big windows with screens, which I preferred using overnight instead of the AC. Both Dolores and Gérard had helpful information about nearby stores, the public beach, etc. The view was lovely, and the location was walking distance from 2 grocery stores.Guest review byJoanieCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 414 reviewsWe loved everything. The location is superb. It’s right next to the second office of Avis from whom we rented a scooter so it was easy to recharge its battery. Also, the beach that the bungalows have access is fabulous. We snorkelled on our own and saw numerous fish, eagle rays, sharks and turtles. Also, the staff are outstandingly friendly, helpful and kind, all of them. They gave us all necessary info and tips and advice. I’d stay here again any time.Guest review byJovanaUnited Arab Emirates

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 48 reviewsYou can't get more Robinson Crusoe feeling... it was by far one of the most special stays we have ever had. The view of Bora Bora, the solitude and the natural life. To sum it up: It was a dream and we will definitely be back. Thank you Tea, Tatiana and Joël 😃Guest review byDennisGermany

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.
Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.Guest review byDorisNew Zealand - 10.0
Our favourite place was on the lagoon.
Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.Guest review byTracyAustralia - 10.0
Going to Matira Beach is a must.
Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).Guest review bychristianUnited States
