- From US$229.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,880 reviewsWhat a grand old hotel. It is stunningly beautiful, and perfectly located at one end of famous Sjøgata. My room looked out over the little hotel garden with beautiful lights decorating the trees, and the river just behind it. Very tranquil. My single room was reachable through a sort of rustic vestibule decorated with beautiful old furniture. There was a staircase down to the main restaurant, where soft piano music came up. Very nice, I liked to sit and listen. My room was actually 3 rooms, an antechamber, a main room with dresser and armchair, and the bedroom. I'm impressed. Bathroom was spaceous. The hotel offers multiple restaurants and bars, including a cocktail bar. Staff was very friendly, Breakfast was rich with everything from cereals to mini pancakes.Guest review byBirgitAustria
- From US$153.19 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,765 reviewsAbsolutely the best place to stay! The apartment has everything you need: dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster, cattle, cooking top. Very warm, cozy, nicely decorated. The terrace is also nice and the mountains/harbor view is amazing! It’s 7min walk from Floya trailhead. We went at 5am to hike and then we’re back to this warm cozy place and felt so nice to have some relax time before we moved to another place. The lady at the reception was super friendly, we were a bit late with check in as we’re caught by strong wind and hail and also flight was delayed. But the lady stayed and waited for us to arrive. Love their late check out at 12. Highly recommend to stay hereGuest review byAnastasiiaHungary
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,272 reviewsThe kindness of the staff (Audrey in particular who was really caring and available to help us even after working hours), the way we were warmly welcomed 🤩 : with jazz music on (wahouuu), ambiance lights turned on, Perfect organisation for self check in, the choice of the furniture in the rorbuer, everything perfect to feel comfy and at home (the best rorbuer we have had in all our 10 days trip by far !). We loved staying there. The location was just great, the view, the proximity of Anita’s, everything. The antic shop, the owner who is s in ncerely invested in offering great quality. Personell was very helpful and friendly. The 'explorer' cabin had an amazing view from terrace, was very modern, intelligently designed and soundproof. Beautiful city.
Beautiful city. Went to see the lights and did not disappoint, even with cloud cover all the days we went! We downloaded a few apps suggested by AI, and they were super helpful. We used the Svipper app to travel around town with the bus, and it worked wonders for us and our wallets! Lots of things to see and do during the day as well. The botanical gardens were beautiful and super well kept. Polaria was worth the money. Restaurants are a bit expensive but great dining! Telegrafbukta and Prestvannet are great places to see the northern lights!Guest review byStefano - 10.0

Bodø isnt a common or popular tourist destination for most visitors to Norway but it has a lot to offer, from restaurants, beaches, nature hikes and excursions, northern lights, and of course not to forget Saltstraumen. It is colder than other cities in Norway as it is the windiest city in Norway, so be prepared for that.Guest review byMax - 10.0

Reine is the crown jewel of the Lofoten Islands — probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and crystal waters, it offers stunning views at every turn. Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.Guest review byDenizTurkey - 10.0
A gateway to other areas like Lofoten.
A gateway to other areas like Lofoten. My recommendation is to stay further afield to the full extent you can. as things like quiet, darkness and views all improve a lot away from the airport. And once you do... it can be magic.Guest review byPeterNew Zealand - 8.0
We loved the beauty of the city.
We loved the beauty of the city. Tourist information staff were very friendly and helpful with information for sightseeing. War museum is excellently presented. Gondola ride to the top of Narvikfjellet is a must to see the beautiful sights from above Buses were easy to use and the plenty of shopping centres. We loved all the memorial statues, a beautiful city. We also took a ride on the Arctic Train, suggest this is a day time trip to see the amazing scenery.Guest review byChezAustralia - 10.0

We chose Alta, the City of Northern Lights, to "Hunt the Aurora Borealis". We were NOT disappointed. It was a magical experience. Lots of beautiful northern lights shows. We did a number of activities: night time horse drawn sleigh ride and dinner; king crab fishing experience; tour of the Ice Hotel at Sorrisniva; dog sled ride at Holmen Husky. We stayed at a canvas dome in GLOD, with the most amazing guide to see the Northern Lights. We stayed in a forest suite at Holmen Husky. The place was incredible and the way they treat the dogs will completely change your thoughts on the sport of dog sledding. They were the sweetest and happiest dogs I've ever seen. We stayed at Flatmoen Natur Lodge, which is a family owned and ran farm. Each lodge has their own private, outdoor jacuzzi so you can sit outside while the snow is falling or hope to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.Guest review bycmayes80United States - 6.0

Leknes is not the real tourist draw in the lofoten, but is central with a lot of busses going through if you don't bring a car. The bakery near the bus station and Sakura can be recommended. We didn't try other places.Guest review byFredericusUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Tromso is in one word magical.
Tromso is in one word magical. You will miss something if you do not visit this beautiful town in Norway. Don’t miss the Arctic fjord cruise starting right opposite the hotel, a quick stop at the Ice bar, a magical walk down the high street market. Visit the little hotdog stand on the high street and try the reindeer hotdog. Take a trip across the bridge to visit the gorgeous Arctic cathedral and don’t forget to take home a little souvenir of a Nordic troll. Sit on the bench outside the Tromso cathedral and enjoy the air. The town is peppered with nice little cafes and excellent restaurants. And the people are really nice and welcoming. I do think I will visit Tromso again.Guest review byRYAN DSOUZAIndia
