- From $84.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 155 reviewsEverything! Immersed in nature, really nice room, comfortable bed and nice hot shower with great pressure! But the best was the staff, they really made you feel at home and super welcome! Also thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruit for breakfast and the location (15 min walk to the beach and 20 to the town). Absolutely loved my stay and highly recommend it!Guest review bygbelfioriItaly
- From $71 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 394 reviewsResponsive and accommodating management, friendly and capable staff. The luxurious foliage in the small compound is a delight and makes it feel like an oasis of nature and tranquility. The breakfasts were delicious, as were two dinners that we ate there. The “honesty bar” works wonderfully and features a broad selection of drinks.Guest review byDavidKenya
- From $430 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 63 reviewsA pearl nestled among the dunes. Watch the sun rise over the Indian Ocean or the sun set with Maputo in the distance. Staff is fantastic and always available to assist. Food was great. The villas are secluded and the views from the terrace is spectacular. We’re definitely coming back!Guest review byJesperMozambique

It looks high but the pathway they created makes it very easy. Beach is simply amazing. The staff also needs mentioning. Amazing service all round.Guest review byAdeleCanada

Ponta do Ouro is a lovely place!
Ponta do Ouro is a lovely place! The beaches are warm and turquoise, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. We swam with dolphins, walked along the golden sands, ate plenty of prawns, sipped on delicious cocktails, swam in the ocean, went on scenic walks, and just fully relaxed. It was absolutely wonderful.Guest review byMarcSouth Africa - 10.0

Get ready to deflate your car tyres and sink your toes into the sand and soak up the breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean at this stunning property! The surrounding area is a sandy haven, perfect for barefoot strolls. Be prepared for a scenic hike down a dune to reach the beach, but trust me, it's absolutely worth it! The beach itself is a tropical paradise, with crystal-clear blue waters and locals offering rejuvenating massages. You will find beach tents and chairs for hire, all you need to bring is your towel. Just a heads up: the tent guys only take cash (R200 for a tent and 2 chairs in our case), but they happily accept both Mozambican currency and South African Rand. On a brighter note, the beach bar accepts card payments, so you can sip on your favorite drinks without a hitch. Whether you are a hiking enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing beach day, this spot has got you covered! The property serves a delicious breakfast and unbelievably tasty seafood for dinner.Guest review byEmilySouth Africa - 10.0
Ponta is always a great place to visit.
Ponta is always a great place to visit. Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with our accomodation as we weren't warned that tents are right next to and in front of a very noisy restaurant with music playing from 10am till midnight. It is a kuier plek but I do feel people making use if accomodation is not that important as main source of income us the restaurant, my opinionGuest review byEsmarie - 10.0
Ponta Malongane is lovely.
Ponta Malongane is lovely. The beaches are lovely and clean and the people are very friendly. We went out on a boat and saw dolphins and whales, it was great. The pao's (Portuguese for "bread") is lovely and the housekeeper at Alfie's House brought us a few pao's every morning, which were enjoyed by all.Guest review byEileenSouth Africa - 10.0

Very friendly and welcoming coastal town, everything you need for your stay is there. Lots to do and the beach setting is beautiful. It’s a great place to go and relax. People are very helpful as well. Plenty of restaurants serving fantastic food at reasonable prices. There’s great beach bars too.Guest review byPeterSouth Africa - 8.0
The kind of place that grows on you.
The kind of place that grows on you. The roads are very sandy in places so deflate your tires and you will manage well. 4x4 is not a must but certainly preferable. The road to Ponta Malongane is a track mostly but follow the directions and ask the locals as you go... They are very helpfulGuest review byHeidi
