RussiaThe hotel is amazing. We had a beach villa secluded by mangrove bushes. The beach from our side of the island was a great for swimming while the other side was good for snorkeling. Though the reef wasn’t colourful enough we could meet turtles and baby sharks near the dolphin villas. The food was awesome. And there is sand all around the island so you can walk everywhere barefoot.

United KingdomExcellent value for money. If you want to get away from the world, have your own private beach and few or no other tourists this is the place to be. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.
This is not a resort but a true Maldivian experience.

South Africa🇿🇦 Came all the way from Cape Town to celebratebrate our honeymoon at this beautiful resort. The most aesthetic looking, beautiful place I have visited in the world. Crystal clear water with easy accessible coral to snorkel (bring your own gearr then you can snorkel whenever you want to). Such friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible with various activities and events organized by the Riu group. Great food and drinks as well. Wouldn’t think twice to come backcl again. Many thanks Riu for the trip of a lifetime!

BelgiumThe guesthouse was everything one would need. Rooms were clean and spacious, there was a little restaurant on the ground floor and on the 4th floor there was huge terrace to relax. All employees were very friendly and polite. Can only highly recommended the guesthouse as we had a wonderful experience there!!

I enjoyed pretty much everything.
I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. Amazing resort I would highly recommend. This was our second stay at Kandima and our experience exceeded the first. Good selection of meals provided throughout the day and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our shuttle bus driver Gasimm was very patient and informative on the ecosystem. Overall It was amazing experience with wonderful view at the Aqua villa, the staff was nice and very friendly. Time of travel was too long and exhausting, as it took me almost 17 hrs to reach the Island as I had to take a domestic flight which adds more time to my original long flight. The food was Ok buy not great, there was not a lot of variation and the menu had many repeated food. I dont recommend. Fisrt time in Riu and the last one. Food and drinks really really poor. always the same. very annoying. You are treated like a $. Beds very bad very used mattress. I asked to change but they dont change. a really bad smell in the shower. Was a really bad experience in this hotel. Everything was good apart from the grilled seafood section was the same for 10 days, I only eat grilled food as am diabetic. However it happened that the i chatted with head chef Janaka and he offered me to make different grilled fish but we were leaving on this day when we chatted. Just to mention I rated kandima 10, but all what am saying here is just for improvements only, the gym looked very old and dull with the blue color, the mats were very dirty we decided to stretch in the room instead. We loved the staff saying good bye when we were leaving by boat my wife cried lol she cries all the time 😂 thanks again to everyone especially Luka, Amr, and Tohbi.Guest review byAnonymous
