It was very relaxing and enjoyable experience. It’s perfect for both couples and families looking for a peaceful getaway. Surprisingly, June has been one of the best time to visit this place although it is considered as an off-season and to be rainy. On the contrary , it has been always sunny and a bit hot. A big shoutout to Sam, our host who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He was always around when we needed something and made sure everything went smoothly. He is super friendly and professional which made a big difference. Also, we’re really grateful to Lasindu, the room attendant who took care of our villa. He’s so humble, hardworking, and genuinely sweet. Our room was always spotless and he always checked in with a warm smile. People like him really make you feel at home. Both Sam and Lasindu made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. We truly appreciate their effort and hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone – and we will definitely come back, especially as a family!

We traveled from the airport to the resort in a seaplane by trans Maldivian airways. Waited at their lounge, which was amazing. It had swings, beds, spa, kids zone etc. It was right next to the airport, and was a luxurious lounge with great food and view. Our grandwater pool villa had the best view ever. It had a very big pool and is totally worth the money! At resort, the staff would wish us whenever and wherever they see us and its a very welcoming environment. When we’re eating, staff would come and ask for feedback. Most of the working staff is Indian. Among memorable staff were Vijay, Reddy and Dilshad, who provided good service. Food is expensive but good. Buffets at Aqua restaurant are the best in terms of quantity and quality and speed, and has lots of vegetarian food options. Had the best jalebi rabdi there. Avoid the other two restaurants since you need to wait 1+ hour for the food to arrive, and quantity is less. We did scuba diving, saw fish and corals, learnt from a Russian instructor. Saw Maldivian cultural night show - music and dance. Played table tennis, badminton, and pool. Fed the fish from our deck. Highly recommend a stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef!

The island itself is very beautiful, with a bikini beach where you can enjoy sunbathing, a beautiful coral reef, and welcoming locals. everybody is laid back and enjoys welcoming tourists. But the best part is the staff! ❤️ They go above and beyond to accommodate every wish, they prepare all kinds of surprises, have great tours and excursions, and are some of the most warm-hearted people I have met. The guesthouse was everything one would need. Rooms were clean and spacious, there was a little restaurant on the ground floor and on the 4th floor there was huge terrace to relax. Everything was absolutely perfect! We were in our honeymoon, the personal took care of everything to be perfect! It was my birthday also, and they prepared something special and very nice! Our guide Mughny was very helpful, happy all the time and one message away to do anything for us! We loved Nyiama, we highly recommend this island! We stayed on over water pool villa, amazing!! 🇿🇦 Came all the way from Cape Town to celebratebrate our honeymoon at this beautiful resort. The most aesthetic looking, beautiful place I have visited in the world. Crystal clear water with easy accessible coral to snorkel (bring your own gearr then you can snorkel whenever you want to). Such friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible with various activities and events organized by the Riu group. Great food and drinks as well. Wouldn’t think twice to come backcl again. Many thanks Riu for the trip of a lifetime!
