We really enjoyed our stay at Boutique Hotel Ruzmarin. It is located slightly outside of Budva in a quiet and beautiful setting, easily accessible by car, with free parking available. The property is small and absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. The breakfast selection was very good. In the evening we had an outstanding dinner at the restaurant, accompanied by a delicious wine. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this place.

In the words of my 6 year old - best hotel ever! Although the photos looked lovely, the experience was even better. The staff were some of the kindest I have ever encountered and extremely friendly. The room was lovely and spacious, with a pretty nice view. The breakfast fresh and varied - and would also recommend the hotel restaurant (and its aquarium - a major draw for the children). The kids play area and the pool were also very nice.

I really liked the hotel. It is new, located in a quiet area, and has a large underground parking lot (yes, it's paid, but that didn't bother me as parking spaces in Budva are very limited). I would like to especially mention the very responsive staff and the magnificent breakfast (the best breakfast I've seen in hotels). I'll also write some suggestions for the hotel (these are not drawbacks, just small opportunities for improvement): 1. Make it possible for guests to open the parking barrier themselves (yes, the hotel staff opens it quickly enough, but still). 2. Replace the bar soap with liquid soap as it sticks to the sink and has to be peeled off :) 3. Add more towel hooks in the bathroom. Once again, I want to emphasize that these suggestions in no way spoil the excellent impression of the hotel. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Montenegro.

The owner of the hotel is kind, the parking was convenient, the hotel staff were smiling, helpful and welcoming.     Exceeded All Expectations! Our overall impression of this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The renovation is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, everything feels brand new, and the interior design is excellent. The hotel is located right on the seafront, with its own private beach and incredibly comfortable mattresses on the sun loungers – a real treat. What impressed us most, however, was the service. People make your business, and your team is outstanding. The reception staff are welcoming, polite, and genuinely open – they made us feel safe and at home in a new country, as if we were long-time returning guests. The staff don’t focus on restrictions or limitations — they look for solutions. Everything was done to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From organizing activities to helping us navigate the area and even assisting with parking — this was by far the best hotel staff experience we’ve ever had. The restaurant service is also exceptional: adaptive staff, wide food selection, and superb attention to guests. You truly feel welcomed and valued here — like you genuinely matter as a guest. We are beyond impressed, especially with the people who work here. You are a real team, and the incredible level of service is thanks to you. Well done!

    Old town was nice (smaller than Kotor, but cute). The Citadel has great views, but costs 5,50 euros to just walk up to the wall - it had two closed restaurants/cafes and nothing else to see. We didn't feel it was worth it.

    From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.

    The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.

    The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

    Beach is perfect, smallest pabbels, clear waters great for sweeming. I’d come bavk for longer stay inwsrmer season. Right on the beach there are several restaurants with good food. My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.

    I had a fabulous time at Villa Zoe, it was my first time in this part of Montenegro and I was amazed by the view, the serenity, the authenticity and the stunning sunsets. There is a hidden beach with a charming trail that only locales know, named beach bar Balun beach and had a great bar restaurant. The sunsets here are incredible

    Sveti Stefan is small enough to explore on foot, there is a pretty coastal walkway that is shaded at times. Whilst busy, the beach didn’t feel too overcrowded in August. The one supermarket is a bit pricey, consider taking some essentials with you
