- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 640 reviewsStayed at Kasbah Asmaa for 1 night as it is a good midway point between Merzouga and Fes. Considering the other Riads and Kasbah we had stayed at, we were pleasantly surprised by this property. Clean room and comfortable beds with TV. Breakfast was very well assorted and had European options such as croissants, yoghurts and boiled eggs. The pool was refreshing and relaxing. The staff was also very helpfull and was able to accommodate us without hesitation with our special request.Guest review byJaydeeThailand

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 279 reviewsThis place was the perfect roadside stop on our journey! We liked that it was easy to find and we received a warm welcome from “Morgan Freeman “. 😊 There is a lovely trail to the lake as well which was a very nice spot to watch the sunset. The room was very big, nice and clean, and we had everything we needed. The restaurant serves up a good dinner and a nice big buffet for breakfast as well! We were very happy with our stay.Guest review byMorganCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 294 reviewsWe had a wonderful stay at Kasbah Izoran! The proprietor and his family were very welcoming and kind. The proprietor turned out to be a very interesting and knowledgeable person, and one of the other guests (a historian) and I chatted with him for quite a while after a lovely dinner. The setting of the place is beautiful.Guest review byRogerUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 836 reviewsStaffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and warm. The dinner set is delicious (must try). Most Riad has smell because the rooms and kitchen are close but this one is fine as they have doors to seperate each floorGuest review byying kwanHong Kong

Midelt was an interesting town/city.
Midelt was an interesting town/city. There is lots to explore there. We enjoyed wandering around the souk. Sitting at the foot of the mountains it is quite beautiful in the changing light. Midelt feels that it is well looked after and maintained compared to other cities and towns we have visited in Morocco.Guest review byArthaAustralia - 8.0
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse. We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.Guest review byMarilyn ToppCanada
