Every single person we met – from the driver that picked us up at the airport, the receptionists, to the waiters and housekeeping – was so kind, helpful, and genuinely warm. They were always smiling, always ready to help, and always up for a friendly chat. You could really tell they loved what they were doing and took pride in making guests feel welcome. We felt so well looked after throughout the entire stay, and their kindness made a big impression on us. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a great buffet and à la carte options – and every meal we had at the restaurant was top-notch. The hotel’s location is also great, just a short walk from the main streets of Siem Reap, so it was easy to get around. One of our favorite parts of the day was coming back to the pool after a morning of exploring the temples. It was the perfect midday break – peaceful and relaxing in beautiful surroundings. It also happened to be my boyfriend’s birthday while we were there, and the staff made it really special with a birthday card, lotus flowers, and even a birthday song. It meant a lot to both of us. ( They clean your rooms in the evening if you go out at night) The pool is huge and you can just approach it from your rooms ( pool side rooms/ with balcony).The pool has an island bar too. The hotel is just 4-5 min.away from the Pub street,Riverside night market and other market places by tuk tuk/ auto rickshaw. Tuk-tuk are always standing right in front of the hotel. Lots of windows made it very bright. We even got a fruit basket for arrival. Although there was no shower in the bathroom (but only a bathtub) everything was so extremely clean and working properly, that I would not rate it negatively. Please try their dragon fruit and pineapple jams for breakfast - never had such tasty ones on our trip. Breakfast assortment even varies during breakfast time. Temples amazing. Well worth booking group sunrise tour to Angkor Wat due to the knowledge of the guide. Visit mine clearing rat centre (APOPO). Ten dollar entry fee well worth the money. I had an excellent stay at Angkor Home 27th! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I especially loved the location — just a short walk to the city center but still peaceful and quiet. The complimentary breakfast, and swimming pool was a nice touch. Laid back charm of this beautiful place, led me to extend my stay. Be sure to check out Apopo Hero Rats - Worth the visit! Tonle Sap - during the rainy season. Angkor Wat, Ta Prom and Bayon Temples and museum never disappoint. Make sure to include Mali's on your list for fine dining! Incredible atmosphere and delicious food!! Siem Reap is a wonderful destination, Angkor Wat is the highlight hands down, and as a photogrpaher, it is disneyland! but so much more to do! I didnt experience the nightlife as it was not important for me. So much potential lies within this city for those who look in the right places. The people are so nice and humble, everyone smiles to you and greets you, children wave as you pass by, such a peaceful community!
