Our stay at this newly opened, family-owned hotel near Mount Fuji was simply extraordinary. The service was beyond outstanding — warm, personalized, and truly from the heart. Every detail, from the beautifully spacious rooms to the private sauna, reflected impeccable design and ultimate comfort. The entire hotel feels brand new, blending luxury with a profound sense of serenity. The food was another highlight: the chef is among the best in Mount Fuji, offering a dining experience far beyond five-star standards. Every meal, especially the traditional Japanese breakfast, was unforgettable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the genuine care and attention to every guest. It’s a rare gem where luxury, warmth, and authenticity come together perfectly. We are already looking forward to returning to this incredible sanctuary.

The most thoughtful and kind staff we've met in Japan yet. The room had the most comfy beds and high quality, eco friendly amenities, and a amazing view of Yamanashi and Mount Fuji. The hotel is very charming and has an ample public bath with many shower heads and the best massage machine I've ever used (¥100 each 5 min). If you plan to visit the nearby Hottarakashi onsen, the staff will kindly lend you towels and schedule a taxi (it cost around ¥3000 the round trip). My husband and I stayed for only one night, but we wish we'd stayed at least 3 nights to enjoy more of Fruits Park. Will definitely come back!!

I was going to Kawaguchiko with my husband for 2 night stays, I would like to say the place was SUPERB with nice view (can view Mt Fuji from bathroom however I didn’t manage to see because of weather condition). It was a cozy cottage provided with bicycle from the owner :) Slightly distance from Kawaguchiko station, but very near to Oishi Park and Kawaguchi Asama Shrine. Definitely will come back again if I’m visiting Kawaguchiko next time :)) Cleanliness : 5/5 Comfort and Amenities: 5/5

Amazing location! If the weather allows it, you have a perfect view of Mt. Fuji-san! The staff were amazing, really helpful and even assisted us with ordering food from outside, as we arrived quite late. Also the room had an amazing balcony view of the lake & mountains. The private open air bath was also really great!

For a single room it was fairly spacious compared to other single rooms I've had before. The whole bathroom is higher which is a little weird but not a problem, maybe if you're elderly this would be an issue, otherwise the room was fine, comfy bed.

Hokuto is a bit of an off-the-beaten-track destination, perfect for a weekend or even 3 or four days. Surrounded by beautiful nature, it's a great place for hikers - since it's located at the base of the Yatsugatake mountain range. The adventurers can go explore the hiking trails and waterfalls, but also there are charming cafes, art galleries and international cuisine restaurants splattered in the area. I would avoid going there by car on a Saturday morning, because the Chuo Express Road gets packed and it may take up to six hours to get there from Tokyo (the normal is 2 hours). So if you can, go on a weekday.
