Wow, this property is AMAZING! It was the highlight of our three weel trip! Totally worth the cost! It's in a prime location within walking distance to many prime places. Great location, very close to many tourist resorts such as Kiyomizu-dera, Kodak-ji, Ninen-zaka & Sannen-zaka. Also very convenient to take bus to everywhere else.     This APA hotel is very good. Located very close to shin-Osaka station, very comfortable if you are traveling around Japan. Easy for day trips to Kyoto and other places. The area is quiet ( you don't hear the trains), not too much going on around. The staff was polite and helpful. Some speak English, some not. Breakfast was tasty, Japanese style, not too much choice, but enough for me. Some people wrote in the review that it's impossible to control the A/C in the room. Well in my room it was possible - you have a/C display on the bed. The bed is super comfy , I slept well.

I didn't order breakfast but it was not a problem, as around was a lot of places to eat a breakfast or lunch or dinner. Personel very nice, kind and helpful. Houskeeping was every day: fresh towels, coffee, tea. Room very clean. As I am the smoker, I had possibility to smoke in the room. Room very small but it was not a problem at all. Access to the metro station a few meters from the hotel. Recommended.

    We loved the onsens looking out at the ocean both in the day and the night. Its a very special experience to be warm in the onsen and then watch the oceans powerful waves. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room and watched the sunrise . It was also near Nachi falls which is very beautiful. Its a busy hotel but the staff were still incredibly helpful. Thankyou-We will remember this place forever!

    we was in kyoto for 7 days in spetember, the temp was over 30 daily, 7 days was perfect as we saw all the temples over the days, got to enjoy some amazing tiktok restaurants, had a few cheap nights in, where we got some amazing food from the local supermarket, the oakwood hotel, let ppl use their dining area, when they are not serving breakfast. the bus in kyoto, if you stay within an area (best to google) is a one off 230yen so we took a bus from the oike area to the golden temple for 230yen each way. buses take 10 50 100 500 1000 yen and will give change, but its best to have correct amount. get on the bus at the back, i think if there is not ticket machine, the bus will stay in the 230yen area, then get off and pay at the front. the bus i used had a screen detailing its route

    Kobe is a great city to visit.

    Kobe is a great city to visit. A vibrant, buzzing and cosmopolitan city with memorable features such as the ropeway to the herb garden at the JR Shin Kobe Station at Sannomiya (an absolute must for visitors), the Maya cable car and ropeway and the Akashi bridge to Awaji Island.

    Nara is beautiful.

    Nara is beautiful. There are two UNESCO world heritage sites and lots of deer. If you are afraid of animals, I don't recommend it. The deer will follow you if you have food and they may try to take it from you if you hesitate or don't gently push them away. They are not, as a general rule, aggressive. A lot of tourists freak out and just throw their crackers. Don't do that. Stay calm. The deer don't want to hurt you, they just want a snack. They don't care for being pet either. Just snap your crackers (200 yen sold at different stands) into 3-4 pieces, hold out your hand flat and let them take it from you. Be aware of how many are around you. They will surround and nibble your clothing. I found this hilarious. I grew up with cows and they will pretty much do the same thing. Use your voice and be gentle. The one day bus pass is really useful. I wish I had more time in Nara.

    We only stayed one night when we arrived as we needed a place to recharge and freshen up before we head to Kyoto. The hotel is very nice with complete amenities in the room. The room we occupied has the view of the airport runway but we never heard any noise coming from the airplanes arriving and taking off. A bit expensive but it was worth it. Breakfast buffet was very good too.

    Great city.

    Great city. I enjoyed visiting this city, especially the Himeji Castle. This was the third times I visit Himeji Castle. Public transportation was convenient. I would recommend spending at least two full days at this city.

    The scenic mountains near the city offers stunning sunset views. The Sakura were in full bloom. There are several parks around the city, and the impressive Wakayama castle. The hotel (Candeo Hotels Nankai) is great value - fantastic river views, rooftop onsen that you can enjoy the sunset. And right at the Wakayama Station. Good dining options around the hotel too.

    One of Japan's six ancient kiln towns. If you are into ceramics it's a brilliant place to visit. If you're not, it's a lovely, relaxed town with nice walks and good places to eat. Very close to Nagoya airport. There is a free shuttle bus into Tokoname or use the station. Home of the lucky waving cat - Maneki Neko!

    We are Americans so we had really little knowledge of Shirahama as a resort city. It was at the tail end of a 3 week tour of Japan and was very restful. Fortunately, we were there after Golden Week and before the main tourist season, so it was quiet and relaxing. We had fun over two nights at a local Turkish restaurant, Blue Bar. We'd recommend it. Also, the beach seemed quite nice although we had one day or rain so we didn't hang out there. While this wouldn't be a regular stop for Americans, I think it is worthwhile and an easy train ride to the airport in Osaka.

    We loved our trip here.

    We loved our trip here. Little did I know, I seem to enjoy travelling in a pretty laid-back city and Ise was just perfect for that. If you're craving for a small city experience, out from the other international travelers, I'd recommend Ise for sure.
