Yokohama is a great city.
Yokohama is a great city. We took the train from Narita airport, which was easy and quick.The harbour and park areas are breathtaking We had 3 days, could have had an extra day. Transport by bus is easy with information given by the hotel and cheap. Taxis not so much! There is plenty to do and see, especially if you like walking. The New Hotel Grande is right next to Chinatown, which was great for food, but the restaurants serve a lot of cold food, so you need to specify. If you go on a cruise to or from Yokohama, stay a few days before and do heaps of sightseeing, then relax on the ship after.Guest review byMarianneAustralia - 10

Hakone is a beautiful region with accessible transport with beautiful scenery and beautiful views of amount Fuji. The onsens are very relaxing. Food is great. Hakone Yumoto station area has many interesting shops. Getting here is easy via Romance express, just under 90mins from Shinjuku. The region had became very popular with tourists. We were attending a event in Kawasaki so that is why we stayed there. We didn't really do much sight-seeing in Kawasaki. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama. I like Fujisawa very much. Our stay was excellent for me, location is near to public transportation (train) good restaurants are walkable and convinient stores too. The entire hotel is clean and offers good, delicious breakfast. Room was clean. Comfort room is kinda small but clean. Everything is excellent for me except the bed and pillows are not so soft.. because I was expecting a very soft pillows and bed but aside from that I enjoyed staying there.
