This guesthouse is in a restricted area, due to its proximity to the Palestine border. On arrival, go to the Visitor Centre and speak to the Police. They will issue you with a pass that enables you to pass the checkpoint and drive down to the guest house. Due to border patrols, you are not allowed to access the River Jordan at night.
There is ample parking and, currently, the whole area is very quiet. (However, the Catholics are building on the adjacent plot, so this might increase the number of tourists.) There were only half a dozen other people staying when we were there, so we almost had the residence to ourselves. Our room has comfortable twin beds and was utterly quiet.
We hadn't realised how far the guest house was from the nearest town and how difficult it was to access the site, so we didn't know where to get dinner. The cooks prepared food for the staff and they kindly provided extra, so that we were able to eat.
The absolute highlight for me was sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set over Palestine. It really was rather special and I didn't want to go in to bed.

BelgiumReally comfortabel and spacey appartement. There was good communication with the owners. The resort is really beautiful with the view, flowers, swimming pool and little beach 🏖️. It was all really clean and comfortable. We had a little spa treatment at the beach, the Dead Sea experience with floating, mudmask and scrub al from the Dead Sea 🤩🫶.

Czech RepublicI recently stayed in Sirfah and had a wonderful experience! The owner was friendly and incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed some amazing dishes that we had never tried before, adding a special touch to our visit. After a long journey from Aqaba, the accommodation provided the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!

D44 is the unit we stayed for three days (Jan. 02 - Jan. 05). The place is very near the dead sea and a club car was available to take people to the sea any time. It was very convenient to use it. One exceptional thing that I have never expected was that the host of the unit was so kind to provide us all necessary things including food-lots of vegetable, fruit, milk, bread, eggs and water bottles. He knows the circumstances of the Dead sea resort area-not many restaurants and grocery shopping malls, etc and knew how to help travelers like us (a family) very well. The unit was well prepared with high-end equipments (washing machine, cooktop, refrigerator in all good brands). There were enough towels for each person. Beds in all three rooms were very comfortable. It was very quiet even in the day time. The unit was spacious and had a great view. Although we visited there in early Jan., it was not cold at all. Even our laundry dried very well. The host is a licensed tourist guide as well and knows many attractions in Jordan. We visited Madaba and he guided us in many good places with detailed explanations. We learnt history of the city as well as archeological areas. We deeply appreciated the efforts of the host and his hospitality during our stay! We were so lucky to meet such a host! Booked in the beginning of our trip for a bit of relaxation and it was perfect for it. The interior design of the hotel is gorgeous, the staff is very warm and welcoming and the views from the hotel are fantastic. I would also recomend eating dinner here - a lot of local dishes and wine to choose from. There was also some live music that made the dinner even more special. The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow. The place needs some attention and could use a coat of paint and some general maintenance. The staff are very nice, but why are there no women working there? Overall we would recommend Mujib Chalets. From the moment i arrived until i left i felt at home, everyone was kind, the owner his son and all his family. We had dinner together and I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful evening with all the relatives around a fire drinking tea. Safi Kitchen offers a variety of tours in the surrounding canyons and historical tours around the area. Excellent food, spacious apartment equipped with all comforts, internal parking. Best for experiencing the Dead Sea at a leisurely pace. One should only select the locations having direct access to the dead sea. We stayed at the Samarah resort so didn't actually go into the city, and didn't feel the need to. The facilities here may not be as good as found in other parts of Jordan. It all depends on the hotel/ staying accommodation selected. We also didn't explore the other tourist sites near Sowayma - if you feel the need to, then plan to stay for at least 3 nights.Guest review byLaukikIndia - 6.0

I like the location and the staff at the bar. They were friendly and polite. In my opinion this hotel should be 3 star. The breakfast had very limited choice of food; cleanliness much to be desire, staff didn't speak English (or barely speak) with bar staff be the exception. However my worse experience was with the lady that was security guard at the entrance to the hotel. I felt she was getting great pleasure in checking my grocery shopping!!
