We loved the location, verry closed to city center. Excellent customer service, proffesional people. They helped us with info about the city, with the bags etc. Breakfast was super nice and rich and verry cheap. The appartment was cozy and the furniture was new and they pay attention to details. The location was fantastic. An 8-minute walk from the Arena and even closer to Piazza delle Erbe and Juliette’s house. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous.Beautiful design, comfortable beds and fully equipped rooms with everything you might need. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We went to Verona to see “La Traviata” and the hotel was our second favorite thing about this trip after the Opera. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you.

We loved our stay at Maison Calcirelli! The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. It was our most comfortable stay in our 3 week trip! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The Airbnb that was booked for my family to stay at for my sisters wedding had no AC and it was the middle of August. Luckily I found hotel Spigamonte, the receptionist was very kind and was able to book 4 rooms. It’s a small hotel but very clean. Very pleased with my stay, if I’m ever back visiting Verona I will be sure to book here again.

    If you compare Verona city center to that of Florence, it is...

    If you compare Verona city center to that of Florence, it is far more condensed, which makes it easy to get around particularly on foot. If you're looking to take in most of the sites, purchasing the Verona Card makes life easier. That said, most sites are closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly. You can visit most everything in two-days. Would recommend spending a third day for a day trip to Lake Garda or the nearby vineyards.

Please seek the advice of the hotel reception staff re good places to eat locally, as there are many great places, in Verona seek out the cafe's and restuarants in the out of the way places as they are the best

    It was an overnight stay, arriving at 9.30pm. Although I had informed the hotel when we were arriving, nobody had put in the air conditioning in the room. We put it on and went out to eat. When we arrived back, the room was cooler compared to the heat outside, but did not work efficiently to provide a comfortable temperature in which to sleep in. We had a terrible night sleep, so left very early in the morning to continue with our journey and did not wait until breakfast was served at 8.30am.

    Although we had difficulties on our trip due to the air-strike. The hotel worked hard to look after us. Upgrading us to the executive suite, providing iron and phone chargers for us. The staff were amazing and helped as much as they could. The breakfast had a variety of food including fresh fruits. The bed was massive and super comfy.

    This is a useful hotel for a one-night stay after arriving at Verona airport late in the day (and flight delayed, so just as well!). Efficiently run, restaurant was open until 10.30 p.m., which was fortunate, as we arrived at about 9 p.m. Food was good for this type of hotel. The air conditioning in our room did not seem to work, but as it was for one night, we didn't bother asking for it to be rectified. Did not open windows, as aircraft noise can be pretty loud, which is what you'd expect being close to the airport. Bus pick-up service was useful to and from airport. A little difficult to find the meeting point though. All in all good value and convenient, Very clean everywhere.

    If you're staying here to commute into Verona, don't. The bus systems aren't very reliable and you can't stay too long in the city or else you miss the last bus that leaves early in the night. I had multiple experiences standing and waiting at bus stops in 95-degree heat for busses that were running late and it was miserable. San Pietro in Cariano is a beautiful little town but there isn't much there and not many people speak a language outside of Italian as it is not a tourist spot and such a small town. There are a few restaurants in town, but the language barrier is difficult and often I would just prefer to wait and eat down in Verona as it was easier. The commute by bus into town is about 30-40 minutes and there is no working AC on the bus so you are either standing or sitting in your own sweat for that entire time. I would have rather spent the money and stayed in the city, but the place I stayed in San Pietro in Cariano was lovely and I have no complaints about that, I just chose the wrong location.

    We had a fantastic experience staying at Sidus Rooms, a beautiful house featuring a modern rustic interior that felt both clean and cozy. The exceptionally comfortable large double beds ensured a restful night’s sleep. The romantic balcony on the second floor offered a view to the lovely garden, and provided a perfect spot to relax. The house itself is situated in a peaceful location with free parking. Paolo, the owner, was very kind. He wecomed us in person and shared invaluable insights about local attractions worth visiting. Additionally, we enjoyed a complimentary breakfast accompanied by excellent coffee. We heartly recommend this place to everyone.
