The room was super comfortable and modern. It was clean. And they put everything you could need there. Also they host you with tea and coffee that you could make in your room and also water in fridge. Also the staff were very nice . They kindly delivered my luggage before check-in time and one of them called Marlys was super gentle and explained me everything about what I could see during my visit in Florence and restaurants bars and tours.

Tuscany has endless stories to reveal: little picturesque towns like San Gimignano contrast with coves and beaches in the Follonica Gulf and Argentario Mount. Heavenly angels lift the soul in beautiful churches decorated with skill and art, while back on earth, luxury Tuscany hotels and restaurants feed the body with indulgent servings of the best Chianina meat, the tastiest olive oil, and countless bottles of Chianti or Brunello.

The best of Florentine Renaissance art is packed into the Piazza della Signoria, Galleria degli Uffizzi and the magnificent Duomo cathedral. Everything! Rafaela, Riccardo, Carlo and all the employees of the resort, including the reception and the restaurant make you feel home. The grounds of the hotel are clear, isolated, located in such a green-lush setting that you never want to leave. The sea is just by your step, and whenever you want to enjoy the sunset or walk by the beautiful Biadola, it’s there. It’s a perfect place for bohemian, easy going and quiet luxuries sense of treating yourself.

The main tourist attractions can be very crowded with long queues so it is well worth buying "skip the queue" tickets particularly for the Uffizi - where there's so much to see that it's worth spending at least 4 hours with a mid-visit break in the restaurant to re-energise. The general standard of restaurants is good and it's worth making bookings at your favourites during busy periods. To escape the crowds and find the best views we like to cross the Arno and climb via Piazza Michelangelo to San Miniata - quite a climb but well worth it. We usually walk back to the centre via the inner ring road and Boboli Gardens and/or Pitti Palace.

Pisa is a very relaxing, pleasant town to visit.

Pisa is a very relaxing, pleasant town to visit. Obviously the Leaning Tower is a drawcard but the local area is quiet pretty and pleasant to look at. Having a hotel in the heart of the town was a big bonus. Siting in the cafes eating and drinking was very easy to take and was quiet relaxing after the last few weeks of traveling.

We are hikers and rock climbers, the location was good for climbing in nearby Monsummano, Several Via Ferattas are within an hour or two drive. The restaurants are many and most are quite good, especially in Montecatini Alto. For those who like to shop, the main plaza has a plethora of sores, including high end shops.

There's not a lot there.

There's not a lot there. And when the cruise ships come in, it gets manic with people getting on busses. We'd a BAD experience with the inspectors that come on buses. They home in on tourist's, when they checked our tickets that we did on the card machine, though not our fault, we wanted 2 tickets, it gave us 1 and the called us crimenals

Montepulciano is THE Tuscan hill-town to stay in.

Montepulciano is THE Tuscan hill-town to stay in. It is a bit bigger than its neighbors and is a fun place to wander around in. There's a lovely cafe, Lalma, just up the street from Casa degli Orti. There's great art in the town along with wonderful views, and of course, don't forget the wine! Lots of opportunities to taste what Tuscany has to offer. We had a car so we were able to drive to the other hill-towns. Pienza is cute; get some cheese! Montalcino was delightful. The whole area is simply jawdroppingly beautiful!

Arezzo is a wonderful place to visit. We came for the Antiques Fair. The Antiques fair was nice, but the rest of the city was exceptional too. The Etruscan museum was a gem! We are really glad we stepped out of the Florence and Rome zone and explored Arezzo.

Viareggio was a perfect stop on our italy tour.

Viareggio was a perfect stop on our italy tour. A beautiful town, suburban, lovely big park in centre with plenty for kids to do in the summer. Gorgeous wide promenade with lovely shops, restaurants, cafe's and bars. Seriously picturesque town. Beach is huge, clean and incredible. It's also only 15 mins to Pisa and over an hour to Florence on train so great stop to explore. Loved Viareggio and would love to come back. Also very reasonably priced for food and drink. Loved Irenes place on the beach for delish cocktails watching the sun go down.
