- From $402.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 98 reviewsThe whole experience was amazing. The location in the forest is wonderful and you are surrounded by the fresh air, birds singing, and the sound of the rushing water from a nearby stream. There is access to many excellent hiking trails right behind the hotel, and there is a bus that will take you into Siusi for many more options. The food was excellent, every day, and there was a huge variety of wines to choose from. The best part of the stay, however, was the staff. The informal yet attentive and warm way they approach their work made all the difference for making our stay as relaxing as it was. Thank you Petra and Team for such a memorable stay.Guest review byFItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 250 reviewsThe hotel is in a fantastic location: from the breakfast room you can see the skyline of the Sciliar beyond the meadows. The kitchen is also excellent: I love "tiramisù" (and being Italian I have eaten my fair share of these desserts) and the one I had here may have been one of the best ever. The rooms are comfortable and quite large. The spa features three dry saunas and one steam bath, together with other facilities. The staff has also been very nice. Being more or less in the middle of the plateau, the hotel is in an excellent location to access walks around the "Alpe".Guest review bySimoneItaly

Castelrotto/Kasteruth is a delightful town set in beautiful surroundings and is we thought just the right size. Large enough to have two supermarkets , a number of choices for restaurants/Cafes , a Pharmacy , a number of clothes shopping opportunities but small enough that we never felt over crowded. It is delightful to see young children laughing their way off to school early morning. And there is a Gelato shop! There is a brand new lift that goes up to several delightful mountain walks at 1,500 metres , as I recall, and a restaurant and play area for children at the top.Guest review bySteveW57Australia - 10.0

It's a lovely peaceful and very clean place with super friendly people and excellent restaurants. Don't go there in summer if you are looking for a party town. Hiking on the Seiser Alm is breath taking. One can get there easy by a direct flight from London or by train. Bus services are excellent. You don't miss your car.Guest review byClaudiaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This region is super!
This region is super! It was our first time to visit so we were in awe of the views and the many options for recreation. We were there in July - considered off-season, so we had expected more stores and restaurants to be open that were not. We still had plenty to choose from, and only wished we had planned a longer stay to enjoy the region.Guest review byAmyUnited States - 10.0

We found Vols to be a very small, scenic, quiet town. There are a few restaurants/shops and pretty town center with a church. It was easy to get to the surrounding areas to hike, etc so it was a good home base.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0
The setting there is just perfect.
The setting there is just perfect. You’re in a valley and have access to several different hiking paths or mountain biking paths. The towns are your typical south to roll little towns. They was just beautiful, surrounded by the dolomites.Guest review byChristlUnited States - 10.0
The bed and breakfast was great.
The bed and breakfast was great. The accommodations were clean and comfy. Breakfast was wonderful and enough to carry us through the day. Patricia, our host, was warm and friendly. She accommodated our every need. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. I would go back!Guest review byJosephUnited States - 10.0
Location was excellent as could walk into town in 5 mins.
Location was excellent as could walk into town in 5 mins. Location was super quiet, parking undercover in the garage. Everything needed for self catering, well equipped kitchen, very spacious bedroom and lounge dining, Host was Doris and was very responsive to a few questions. I will definitely stay again next time I am in the area. Breakfast not supplied as was ABNB format and was self catering. Will stay again and recommend to anyone. Supermarket was 5 mins walk into town, Plenty of cafes and restaurantsGuest review byMichael BakerAustralia - 10.0
I believe that Alpi di Siusi (seiser Alm) is an amazing...
I believe that Alpi di Siusi (seiser Alm) is an amazing place worth seeing. The Paula and Hans Steger round way is really scenic and gives off those cosy ghibli - heidi vibes. There was a lot to see, the roads are generally well managed and well marked. There definitely is some elevation, so come with decent hiking shoes and enough water/snacks to tackle it. There are enough benches along the entire round way to rest upon, and there are also a few Alms (refuges) where you can grab a drink or use the lavatories. The entire route offers scenic views upon some of the taller peaks surrounding the seiser Alm (like mount Schlern, or Seceda in the far distance) as well as beautiful flower covered meadows. At some places you can find lifts which take you up or down the meadows for a fee. We stayed in a small resort town called Kompatsch. You can get there by getting to Siusi at the foot of the mountain, leave your car at the parking garage next to the cable car station, and take a cable car up to Kompatsch. (the road to Kompatsch is closed from 9am to 5pm for the general trafic) There are mostly hotels, with a few sporty stores and restaurants as it mostly caters to the skiing scene in winter. (we were there in summer) The restaurants there generally close their kitchens at around 16:00, but you can still get a warm snack if your hotel does not provide a dinner. Also pay attention to the open/close time of the cable car stations, in the summer they operate from 8am until 6-7pm)Guest review byDianaSlovenia - 8.0

Having to order food by 8 pm each evening was not very helpful especially if I had been out late in the afternoon. There were one or two restaurants open till later ( taking orders) but I did not know about them till too late. I didn’t find the restaurants particularly good in fact. But they were not as expensive as I expected either. The Eurospar store was amazing. It was very well stocked indeed and was very useful. My hotel in Castelrotto was excellent. To be able to use the buses free of charge was very welcome and the bus drivers were all very helpful too. Castelrotto is very well located for walks and trips to Seiser Alm and St Ulrich for the Secede cable cars. The scenery and walks up on the Alms were amazing. And everything was well organised and ran smoothly.Guest review byCatherineUnited Kingdom - 10.0
