Very nice Hotel in Bharuch I think one of the best in the area. I can only recommend it for any visitor. Comparing to EU the price for Hyatt is cheap. Dinner is very Indian driven, but if you want and you asked the employer one day earlier you can get some food regarding to your whiches.

We had gone to Surat for shopping.
We had gone to Surat for shopping. Lalgate area was good as everything you need from clothes to sarees to Jewellery for women and men was available there and at a reasonable price.
The shop keepers were also patient kind and helpful serving us with water and tea all the time in all the shops.

Visiting Jyothirlinga's is important according to me.
Visiting Jyothirlinga's is important according to me. These are such an important tourist spots for most of hindus. Crowd Management, cleanliness, storing facilities for electronic devices were all perfect.
The security staff can be little more considerable in addressing crowds queries (who are first time visitors), women staff were very arrogant. The approach, peripheral area outside the temple can be given more importance.
Hotels, local transportation are highly priced/charged. Islamic localities running operations in Hindu deity names.

We were there for a couple of weeks to get some dental work done, so longer than we would normally stay. The Ghandi museum is interesting, but apart from that there is was not too much of interest, except if the cricket is on! Some good shopping, and easy to get around, as it is a smaller city. It is a good stopover on the way to Gir National park area, but probably 1-2 nights would be sufficient. There is a fabulous non-veg restaurant Hot and More, near the Ghandi museum.

Place in itself is very beautiful with lush green mountains and narmada river and serene surroundings. Incessant rains during my visit made it look even more beautiful. The statue also looks marvelous and it's amazing how the structure has been built. Viewing gallery gives good view but it gets very restricted. Facilities inside the sou campus are also pretty good.
Coming to the downsides - things are in general fairly expensive. You are not allowed to go to most places by your own vehicle. Private vehicles need to be parked in parking lots which are pretty far from main attractions and govt buses or autos need to be taken. This feels very restrictive and gets more challenging if you have elderly people in the group.

If you are really interested to see Lion in the forest, plan for early morning and late evening tour. Also, you should book for two to three days booking as it is tough to see lion in single day. It is sheer luck if you are able to see lion. Have your good camera / DSLR with you. This forest gives you many perfect pictures to cover. Very serene and dense. Eat light food as you have to travel patchy and unruly road. Somehow had a feeling that entire travel within safari was superficial and we didn't go deep in the jungle.
People, guards, drivers and systems, everything is class apart. You will get all positive vibes. They are tourist friendly people.

Loved the kamala Nehru park near Atal bridge. And the food outlets around there. Delicious amitsari paratha at New Age kitchen. Also the Lokmanya Tilak park. So many trees and birds. Walking through the city was interesting because of the architecture and monuments.
Getting around is easy as there are plenty of rickshaws and taxis.
Went to the Kankaria lake in the morning which is not a good time because of the heat. Best to visit in the evening.
