I would avoid the Salt and Rove Hotel (aka Hotel Elevate by Corporate Suite) - there are hundreds of alternative clean, presentable and welcoming hotels in Delhi! I will be coming back to Delhi to spend more time exploring; my most favorite place this time was the Lotus Temple. Absolutely amazing!! !50% recommend a visit - especially if you are of a spiritual, meditative nature. Beautiful!! Very easy to get around Delhi - just grab a taxi (but ask the cost first before you depart on your journey). I loved Delhi and will be going back!Guest review byMcManaway - 10

We loved New Delhi, despite the notorious pollution. The historic buildings (mosque, Red Fort, temples, tombs) were fascinating and we didn't have time to visit the museums, which would have been a great addition to our stay. The markets were an experience, but best avoided on a Sunday afternoon as everyone is preparing for a festival: I have never experienced pressing crowds like it!
