The hotel is an absolute gem in Poreč. We arrived late in the afternoon after having to leave our previous horrible accommodation. We were welcomed in a beautiful hotel. The room is so spacious with wonderful linen. A great place to relax. Perfectly situated with sea view. The breakfast spread is fit for a king, we loved it. Sure! Here’s a polished English translation of your review: I stayed at this wonderful hotel with my children (7 and 10 years old) for five days (May 20–25, 2025). We weren’t very lucky with the weather—there were a couple of rainy days—but the hotel, the staff, the food, and the service were absolutely amazing! Here are some highlights: 1. We were checked in very quickly. Our room had a large bed and two sofas, and everything was perfectly prepared for the kids—from sleeping arrangements to hygiene supplies. 2. The staff were extremely friendly everywhere: at reception, in the bars, in the restaurant—everyone was ready to help. For example, I needed salt at 10 p.m. to make a gargle solution for my child, and it was sorted out within two minutes! 3. The breakfast was excellent—abundant, delicious, and varied. Warm croissants, several stations for eggs and grilled vegetables, fresh fruit, a separate cheese counter, local sausages, pâtés, olives—everything was truly delicious! 4. Dinner: every evening featured a variety of grilled fish and meats, a dedicated cheese station, a great selection of seasonal fruits, desserts, ice cream, a wide array of vegetables and salads (it’s hard not to gain a few extra kilos!). 5. Delicious cocktails in all the bars. 6. For kids: everything from a mini disco to a large play area with mazes and game consoles (for older children), a magician, interactive games, and dancing. It was all simply fantastic! We will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this hotel! The only downside was the rain—but, of course, that’s not the hotel’s fault. Thank you, and I’m already looking at dates for our next trip!

    The hotel is very nice. Beach is in 20 metres, it is surprisingly quiet at night - great sleep quality. Dinner is very good with lots of fish, meat, pizza, vegetables, fruit, ice cream and unlimited free beer and wine. There is limited parking right in front of the entrance, but lots of parking about 50-200 metres away.

    On booking we didn't realise it was a holiday camp style resort. But we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and wish we would have had more time to stay longer. Also the buffet restaurant is great Vue for money or you can go shopping to the supermarket and the on site greengrocer. We will definitely be back.

    I have been visiting Poreč for more than 10 years, and it is always a wonderful experience. It’s a very beautiful town with a charming atmosphere, lovely beaches, and plenty to see and do. Every visit feels special, and I will definitely keep coming back.

    Vrsar was charming and small, much more welcoming than over-crowded Rovinj. We got a nice welcome and great tips from our host and felt a much more local-friendly vibe. Services were good quality and there were fewer tourist traps than in Rovinj. Overall a very cosy, relaxing experience, I wish we could have stayed longer.

    Funtana itself is a small place.

    Funtana itself is a small place. A few (very good) restaurants, a big supermarket, a marina. And a few very big camping sites. So it's not a place where you have a boulevard to walk in the evening with shops and a lot of people. These are in cities like Porec, 10 kilometers away. For us it was perfect, we took the car and came back in a calm and peaceful place. Without a car you might get bored.

    The hosts has been kindly, friendly, helpfully but respectfully. The room was great for us, a couple in the sixtees. We liked the quietness and tranquility of the location and the area. We liked the extensious walkings in the nature around, fields, little woods and on the seaside. Porec, Novigrad and Umag were nearby and in a few minutes to reach by car. There were not so many restaurants open in the village, but the two ones we visited served delicous meals and best wine. We escaped from the cold and foggy weather in Austria to the sunny, clean and salty mediterranean air of Istria and wouldn't have been disappointed. There would have been worth to be visited a lot of more locations nearby, if we would have had the time for it. We loved those days and will come back by occasion.

    Great central hub for touring Istria since it is around 1 hour drive to almost anywhere in Istria, but set in peaceful rural location. Many wineries are within a 1-15 minute drive, don't miss a visit to OH wines. The only real drawback of Vizinada is that grocery availability is very limited, you may need to drive 20 minutes away to find a Spar grocery.

    Vabriga is a small village but located in a short drive distance from all near by beaches abs towns. Great to retreat to after a busy day out. There is no beach that is good walking distance but all nearby beaches are around 10-15 min car drive away.

    Sveti Lovrec is a beautiful clean, quiet village, the Villa is on The outskirts of the village but within walking distance of the local shop and bar. The locals were all friendly. Sveti Lovrec is approx 15 minute drive from the main town of Porec (which again is beautiful) Our villa was very clean and furnished to a very high standard - it was perfect for our family.

    Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.

    Atmospheric small town with harbour. Lots of super eating places. Old town on the hill full of cafes and easily accessed by charming road train. Miles of traffic free cycle and walking paths adjoining the sea to nearby resorts including FKK in Koversada. Excellent facilities for all family ages.

    Funtana is a typical Croatian holiday village with huge campings and amusement park. Everything you need is in a close distance. Very nice fish food restaurant MORE, Spacious city beach with free parking and facilities (beach club). Very close to Vrsar or Porec bigger cities and the Lim fjord. The area has plenty of small islands accessible by SUP.
