They met us both for an early check in given we had an early ferry, and let us check out later so we didn’t have to carry our bags round whilst waiting to go back to Rhodes. It was very clean and had everything we needed, a great little property :-)

AustraliaProperty was great. Very clean and sheets and towels were changed for us mid way through our stay. Air con was excellent and kept the place cool the whole time. Shower was very good and bathroom was clean and had a well equipped first aid box. Kitchen had all utensils etc needed.

Definitely in our top list of best accommodation we stayed in Greece. Amazing views, comfy room, lovely breakfast (nice food variety and front beach tables!), absolutely helpful and friendly personnel. It is so worth spending extra €€ for the sea view room! We loved waking up and opening the shutters every morning, as well as enjoying the night view on the balcony. The hotel arranged a free complimentary shuttle both ways which we have never experienced in Greece before. Comfy family hotel...thank you for your care and thumbs up! We stayed in room 207. We had specifically asked to be on the 2nd floor but bear in mind there is no lift in the hotel, which we knew and did not mind. I think room 215 had its own balcony. Our room had a shared balcony divided by glass partitions for privacy, which we did not mind at all. Huge compliments to the designers for separating the sink with mirror from the bathroom - very useful for ladies when your man is occupying the bathroom! :-)

The room was perfect but the best thing in booking in this hotel it’s to meet Nikos, the manager of the Hotel. He will welcome you, he is always available to give you any information and it’s a very nice person. For exemple, when we arrived Nico’s come to take us at the Harbour, told us about a Greek party that we would never have find, he suggested us to take part of this boat tour of the island that was the best thing I did in this summer and he also suggested us a really good and cheap restaurant. What else? Moreover, we were going to loose the ferry but he came with is moto and took us to the harbour full of luggages! He is an angel! The incarnation of the famous greek welcoming spirit! Amazing staying, 10/10!!!

This was an amazing experience. The rooms are at a great location, only few stairs to take from the promenade, and very close to the taxi boats and other prominent locations. The apartment was very cozy, just as in the photos. The host was the kindest we have ever seen. They communicated beforehand with instructions and advices, like where the ferry boat will arrive, how to get to the rooms and more, then continued to advise about events that would be taking place etc.

We really liked how the hotel was not in the center and had therefore a calm atmosphere. We could relax and enjoy the beach. A couple steps next to the hotel there are water taxis which take you to amazing beaches. There is also a bus stop which directly takes you to the city center. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly providing us with everything.

Nikos was the best host I ever seen! No kidding! He helped us a lot with everyting we needed and always on time!!! I really recommend this place, not only for its perfect location and great rooms with very confortable beds but also because you feel like you have friend there redy to help at a momentt's notice! You won't get better service enywhere else than here!

Very nice location a little further from the louder marina and bars. The property has a lot of character it is tastefully and carefully decorated. The manager Carlo and the rest of the staff was very kind and helpful. It had a nice and peaceful ambiance.

An absolutely fantastic location with a stunning view, just a few steps from the main ferry drop-off. Panos welcomed us warmly and was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions. The hotel is perfect and has everything you could need.

Lovely stay, only a couple of minutes walk from the port, yet nice and quiet. Rooms were modern and exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay again! We stayed in the room with 4 single beds to accomodate our family of 4.

Very quiet location with magnificent view of the port. Spacious and extremely clean room. The lady at the reception is friendly and very kind. Coffee capsules can be consumed at no extra cost throughout the day.

Charming little bay (main bay Gialos), quiet (late Sep/Oct),...
Charming little bay (main bay Gialos), quiet (late Sep/Oct), everything in a small area and worth either staying for a few days or just one night perhaps if you're based on Rhodes. It's a hike up those stairs, but Chorio I found to be the better place to eat and worth the trip for sure.
Boat taxis get you about the beaches from Gialos (PLEASE make sure you have protective water shoes!), and walking to Nimborio or Pedi is easy enough if it's not too hot. No need for taxis here.
Enjoy: super quality coffee, Mediterraneo and Nook, bumping into the same people time and again (if you like that ...), gin clear water (Kirtos actually quite a good little beach, nice staff), Nikolaos nice also, lovely backdrop for an early evening Negroni at Elpida and Porte. Niki's for a homemade, no frills dinner in the old town (worth the steps). Small community, generally lovely warm welcoming people.
Watch out for: beaches rocky, stony including St George, if you don't like seeing the same people every day this place is not for you :), SOME slightly disappointing restaurants on the harbour front (some very good, also). Weather changeable in late Sep/early Oct.
Definitely one for the romantic trip, some nice spots, not so much as a solo traveller in 20's/30's as the demographic is somewhat older. Pretty easy to get to from Rhodes; I actually would recommend an early arrival so as to grab a ferry same day and avoid Rhodes Town). Sebeco one worth the €20 e/w, book ahead.

I'd absolutely recommend symi it's a beautiful island ,stunning even. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to go for a few days not just a day boat trip from Rhodes. To fully appreciate this little island you really do need to spend at least one night this would allow you to at least be able to explore the old town above the harbour with its very steep and narrow lanes plus two or three excellent restaurants.Be aware that that the old town above the harbour is accessible via extremely steep stairways extremely steep.

Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village on top of it. Beautiful beaches, scattered all around the island. Some of them reachable by bus, taxi or on foot, others are reachable by taxi boat.
Love Agios Nikolaos and fish tavern on it with fresh wild fish, love swimming from Agia Marina to small island with the little church there.
Of course, Agios Georgios is incredible place.
The island is not for mass tourism, of course the boats come during a day, but most of them are not staying overnight.
Some wildlife - spotted seal on the beach in Nimborio, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach.
Excellent taverna Tholos, close to port, our long time favorite, also liked a lot Zoe and Kali strata in the village.
And for a Christian, it is a must to visit both Archangel Michael monasteries - Panormitis (newer) and Roukouniotis (older) with frescoes that date back to 15th century. Also, for an Orthodox a surprise visit to Sergii Sarovski church.
