The staff is super friendly and had great recommendations. We were recommended to go to their local “panigiria” party and were even helped by a friend of the receptionist when we couldn’t get a taxi there.
The pool is great and it’s nice to have some sun loungers both in the sun and in the shadow!
The rooms are clean and the air condition is good which is much needed.

IrelandFirstly Marina herself is so warm & welcoming it was a beautiful start to my stay in Therma. I loved Therma & indeed Marina Hotel so much, I extended my stay. The Hotel looks out over the little bay / harbour, and the water warm enough (due to the hot springs) for swimming any time of day. The ambiance is Marina hotel is really friendly, and made it very easy for connecting with other visitors if that's what you like. This place is a real gem - I hope to make it an annual trip.

Which was extremely helpful as my husband had to work odd hours remotely and there was plenty of room so I wasn't woken. Our two children stayed in a smaller villa, which backed onto ours, (no internal access, it is rented separately). They had combined kitchen bedroom room, and separate bathroom. Daughter slept in the large bed, son was very comfortable on the roomy couch bed. The units were indeed airy. They were calm clean and I felt very very relaxed there. It was easy living. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathrooms lovely. Everything was so clean. Kitchens were well kitted out, full stove and fridge. We enjoyed walking down to Christos Raches in the mornings and evenings. I have had some lovely experiences and met some lovely people while staying in Ikaria, but for blissful physical comfort this was my favourite accommodation. Thank you.Guest review byGraceNew Zealand

The hosts were more than wonderful, very friendly and welcoming, always ready to talk to us, give us some helpful advice. The apartment was comfortable, we had an attic that you had to climb to with a ladder, very fun for the kids. It is very well equipped, you have everything you need. It is emerged in olive and fig trees and the view from our apartment was amazing, facing the coastline and the beautiful sea. The owners had a lot of cats in the yard so our kids had a lot of fun playing with them. Backgammon and chess sets could be found dotted around the hotel, there were many books to read and we were sent us a list of recommendations for what to do in Ikaria. Open buffet breakfast served at the restaurant was really good. The location of the hotel is perfect, it's only a few minutes drive to the centre and there is a beautiful, non-organized beach across the road, which is easily accessible. Evdhilos is a nice small town. It offers some basic facilities: some restaurants, cafés and minimarkets. There are also several (4?) car rentals. Armenistis is a lovely place to stay but if you want to see the best parts of the island you really need a car. I didn't have one and felt that I didn't see more than the beach. The seasonal bus had stopped running so I wasn't able to go very far which was quite frustrating.
