- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 251 reviewsYiannis the host made my trip and mainly is the reason I fell in love with Folegandros - The room is decorated with great care and with great eye for detail and is just like a small museum. It is clean and very functional with all necessities included. the pictures don’t do the room justice. - very good location, next to the port surrounded by everything you need (cafes, restaurants, market, bakery). It’s easy to get to the rest of the island from here, everything is a 10-20min drive and there are busses, car rentals or Yiannis takes you. - Folegandros is a must when traveling the Cyclades - All credit to Yiannis, I can not emphasize this enough. Thank you for everything and the beautiful Folegandros you showed me; take care of yourself and enjoy the rain and the cold soonGuest review bySylvieBelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 287 reviewsWe have been in this hotel before and we have noticed that each time something new is added. This year a renovation at the breakfast area was a pleasant surprise! A WMF self service coffee machine was absolutely amazing, as we had to choose from a variety of coffees and hot beverages even via our mobile phone! And the quality of coffee was superb! The food was excellent as well, both during breakfast and dinner. There were also two electric bikes which we could ride for free upon request. We will definitely stay in Vrahos boutique hotel again next time we visit Folegandros. It never ceases to amaze us.Guest review byALEXGreece
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 204 reviewsThe view is absolutely spectacular, the best on the whole island. It's a very peaceful place to go on holiday and take the opportunity to disconnect. You open the bedroom door and all you see in front of you is the sea... the sea and... the sea. The room has everything you need to be comfortable. There are numerous restaurants near the hotel, excellent beaches and it's a great island with few people compared to other islands like Santorini or Mikonos. For me, it's the real Greek island that stands out for its simplicity.Guest review byJoanaPortugal

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 253 reviewsThe hotel is beautifully located close to the port and the infinity pool overlooks the Bay. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved every second. The rooms were spacious, the outdoor gym was well equipped for a whole body circuit and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and gave us helpful advice for exploring nearby villages and beaches.Guest review byAmandaSweden
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 260 reviewsThis is great value for money. Our stay was excellent! We had the best room overlooking the monastery. There are many other nicer boutique hotels with pool etc but this suited us perfect. Great location- just a nice short walk to the picturesque village. The owner is super relaxed and friendly- no wonder the hotel has top reviews.Guest review byAndreUnited Kingdom

Truly the most picturesque and beautiful Greek island I have ever been to. Great for relaxing and chilling, romantic and authentic Cycladic vibes and style. Coming from the crowds of Santorini it was such a pleasant surprise and had an unforgettable time. Beautiful and untouched beaches with our favourite being Agali.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
We enjoyed staying at the port.
We enjoyed staying at the port. It is quieter than the Hora (particularly in the evening) but there is a great choice of beautiful, low key family tavernas which gave us some of the best dining experiences of our trip and a great swimming beach. You can also easily walk to Pountia beach and some of the swimming bays between the port and Pountia. The bus service to the Hora runs hourly so you can easily access the restaurants and attractions of the Hora. We loved staying at ANEMI and would stay at Karavostasis for that alone.Guest review byMELISSAAustralia - 10.0

A quiet place off the beaten path for those that prefer to travel away from crowds. The supermarket had everything we needed and was approximately 400 meters from where we stayed. The views are like no other and absolutely stunning sunsets.Guest review bySheetalKenya - 10.0

We would highly recommend staying in Agkali when visiting Folegandros. The beach is not only beautiful, with turquoise waters and golden sand, but it’s also the perfect starting point to explore nearby coves and hidden beaches. It can get a bit crowded during the day — though we’ll admit we’re quite picky, as we usually prefer more secluded spots. That said, Agkali is still peaceful and it’s served by a few charming tavernas — our favorite was Pasithea. In the evening, once the beach clears out, the place becomes truly magical: quiet, intimate, and almost private, with the sea in front of you and the stars above.Guest review byElenaItaly - 2.0
Please see earlier review.
Please see earlier review. Briefly, this place is totally unsuitable for more than two guests. The second bedroom is a windowless cell with no proper furnishings. It is a fire death trap and should not be slept in. The property description is totally inaccurate. There are not two bathrooms. There is certainly no bidet or private bathroom. It stank of tobacco.Guest review byBrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A traditional island without all the hustle and bustle of major cruise ships A must see island if you are exploring the Greek Islands as it gives you a glimpse of what traditional Island life is really like. Small cobblestone laneways into a picturesque old town!Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0

The island is beautiful, rugged scenery, dramatic cliffs, gorgeous beaches. The port is quiet with a few casual restaurants. The town of Chora is small and very quaint and it is 4 mins by bus from the port. The church on the hill is worth visiting to see the sunset. Highly recommend the island of Folegandros, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more popular Greek islands.Guest review bySharonIreland - 10.0
The wild west of Folegandros.
The wild west of Folegandros. Traditional cycladic farmhouses, donkeys helping the farmers execute their everyday tasks. Peace and many footpaths options to hike to a nearby beach withing 30-45minutes. A great surpise were time stands still.Guest review byZoeGoGreece - 10.0

Blue Sand was simply stunning….from the decor, the outstanding service ethic of the staff, (they couldn’t do enough to help us)the delicious breakfasts and to top it all, the beautiful view of the sea and proximity to a sandy beach. I would highly recommend a stay at this outstanding hotel.Guest review byJaneSouth Africa - 10.0
Restful. Relaxing. Calm and clean.
Restful. Relaxing. Calm and clean. Very comfy with great hot water, great beds. Decor in the rooms is a bit retro and dated and the TV placements are hilarious (you can't view the screens around the 4 poster beds) but you're not there to watch tv. Enjoy the amazing pool, the great drinks and the amazing town. It's the best!Guest review byJenniferUnited States
