Our original room had an issue with the air conditioner being faulty. We were immediately upgraded to a lovely suite. Thank you for that. The pool and bar were great with stunning sunset views. Closeness to village beautiful village and friendly locals excellent. Would definitely return here to stay. The Hotel picked us up from the ferry and supplied a return journey when leaving the island which was much appreciated.

Amazing rooms in this hotel, the private pool with the view of the sea has to be seen to be believed. Great facilities, lovely food and complimentary yoga. The breakfast was also delicious.

Absolutely superb. Sorry we only stayed for 3 nights. The quality of finish poolside and in the rooms is top class. The staff were so welcoming and attentive and could not be more helpful.

From the very first moment we arrived at the accommodation, we felt like we had stepped into a little paradise. The place was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and carefully designed down to the last detail. The room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. The view from the balcony was truly magical; every morning we woke up to the sounds of nature, and every evening we enjoyed the stunning night sky, counting shooting stars. The location is ideal, offering peace and relaxation, while at the same time being very close to wonderful beaches and great restaurants. Lina, the host, was exceptional: kind, friendly, and always available to help us with recommendations for food, excursions, and activities. She made us feel genuinely welcome and gave us the impression that we weren’t just staying at an accommodation, but being hosted by friends. Overall, this is a destination that combines quality, hospitality, and an authentic experience. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for unforgettable holidays! 🌟

    We stayed for two nights at Blue Sand Boutique Hotel, and from the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the enchanting view. Located on hillside overlooking the stunning beach of Agkali, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere where you can truly embrace the serenity of the surroundings. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, with thoughtful attention to detail — from the quality of the linens and room amenities to the tasteful decor. We especially enjoyed relaxing on our balcony, with its cozy pouf chairs and boho-chic style, as we watched small boats come and go in the bay below. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. Mrs. Katerina and her entire team were warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating — delivering excellent service with a true sense of hospitality. We would definitely love to return. Thank you!     We stayed at the Onar suites for our honeymoon and it was by a margin our favorite place in all of the Cyclades (and we stayed at the more exclusive Milos Cove). Petros gave us the warmest welcome to this little paradise of a place. This place is truly magical, incredibly quiet (at least in May, at the start of the season), with an extraordinary view of the sunrise, delicious breakfast with local ingredients. Folegandros is a gem, and this hotel is an even rarer find, we plan to come back, hopefully more than once. Thank you Petros and Cinta for this wonderful experience.

    AMO is the best place we stayed in the Mediterranean. The spacious rooms look over a wonderful Greek island beach and room details go very well with island ambiance. Everything is well maintained and swimming pool is nice bonus. Owner Valentini is great host, super nice, she offered us a transfer from port and back.

    Stunning views, beautiful pool area, so peaceful and quiet yet close to the village, recommend renting a car as there is a steep road to get up to, but rentals are very cheap its worth it go around the island comfortably. Staff are very nice and helpful, definitely recommend staying here!

    Truly the most picturesque and beautiful Greek island I have ever been to. Great for relaxing and chilling, romantic and authentic Cycladic vibes and style. Coming from the crowds of Santorini it was such a pleasant surprise and had an unforgettable time. Beautiful and untouched beaches with our favourite being Agali.

    We enjoyed staying at the port.

    We enjoyed staying at the port. It is quieter than the Hora (particularly in the evening) but there is a great choice of beautiful, low key family tavernas which gave us some of the best dining experiences of our trip and a great swimming beach. You can also easily walk to Pountia beach and some of the swimming bays between the port and Pountia. The bus service to the Hora runs hourly so you can easily access the restaurants and attractions of the Hora. We loved staying at ANEMI and would stay at Karavostasis for that alone.

    A quiet place off the beaten path for those that prefer to travel away from crowds. The supermarket had everything we needed and was approximately 400 meters from where we stayed. The views are like no other and absolutely stunning sunsets.

    We would highly recommend staying in Agkali when visiting Folegandros. The beach is not only beautiful, with turquoise waters and golden sand, but it’s also the perfect starting point to explore nearby coves and hidden beaches. It can get a bit crowded during the day — though we’ll admit we’re quite picky, as we usually prefer more secluded spots. That said, Agkali is still peaceful and it’s served by a few charming tavernas — our favorite was Pasithea. In the evening, once the beach clears out, the place becomes truly magical: quiet, intimate, and almost private, with the sea in front of you and the stars above.

    Please see earlier review. Briefly, this place is totally unsuitable for more than two guests. The second bedroom is a windowless cell with no proper furnishings. It is a fire death trap and should not be slept in. The property description is totally inaccurate. There are not two bathrooms. There is certainly no bidet or private bathroom. It stank of tobacco.

    The island is beautiful, rugged scenery, dramatic cliffs, gorgeous beaches. The port is quiet with a few casual restaurants. The town of Chora is small and very quaint and it is 4 mins by bus from the port. The church on the hill is worth visiting to see the sunset. Highly recommend the island of Folegandros, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more popular Greek islands.

    The wild west of Folegandros.

    The wild west of Folegandros. Traditional cycladic farmhouses, donkeys helping the farmers execute their everyday tasks. Peace and many footpaths options to hike to a nearby beach withing 30-45minutes. A great surpise were time stands still.

    Blue Sand was simply stunning….from the decor, the outstanding service ethic of the staff, (they couldn’t do enough to help us)the delicious breakfasts and to top it all, the beautiful view of the sea and proximity to a sandy beach. I would highly recommend a stay at this outstanding hotel.

    Restful. Relaxing. Calm and clean. Very comfy with great hot water, great beds. Decor in the rooms is a bit retro and dated and the TV placements are hilarious (you can't view the screens around the 4 poster beds) but you're not there to watch tv. Enjoy the amazing pool, the great drinks and the amazing town. It's the best!
