- From $540.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 987 reviewsI recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can't wait to share my experience. **Location:** The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the old town port and local shops and restaurants. This convenience made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable. **Breakfast:** Every morning started off perfectly with a delicious breakfast that featured a variety of local options. There were fresh fruits, an assortment of yogurts, and delightful pastries. Each dish was prepared with care, making breakfast a highlight of my stay. **Check-In Experience:** I encountered an issue with my booking, which was not the hotel's fault. However, the staff went above and beyond to help me correct it. They offered me a glass of cold water and a comfortable couch while sorting out the issue. Their hospitality made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. **Front Desk Staff:** The front desk team was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and even helped book a trip to Loutro. Maria, in particular, was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. **Bellmen:** The bellmen were just as friendly and welcoming. Every day when we returned, they greeted us warmly, assisted with our vehicle, and offered recommendations for the next day's activities. Their friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. **Evening Entertainment:** After a night out on the town, which is conveniently only a few minutes away, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of piano music in the hotel's lounge. This added a touch of elegance and relaxation to our evenings. **Overall:** My stay at this hotel was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, delicious breakfast, and the friendly atmosphere created by both the front desk and bellmen staff made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.Guest review byRooksJapan
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 116 reviewsThe staff was exceptionally friendly and took great care of us. The resort is super clean, and our suite was just beautiful and spacious with 2 full baths and great a/c. The food was wonderful in both the main dining area and the resort restaurants. I am an American fluent in Greek so I connected with the staff. They are really nice people. We were there in late July so I don't know if the resort was at full capacity or not, but there were plenty of chairs available on the beach, plenty of room on the pool decks and in the pools. The water park at the back of the resort was so much fun, too. If you don't want to walk to the beach (which seems far, but it's really not) you can go via golf cart. The staff is there to ensure you have and enjoyable stay, and we certainly did. Τα περασαμε πολη καλα, Happy!!Guest review byKathyUnited States

There are no luxury design or a lot of events, but it was so cozy, clean and the food was amazing! It was the most delicious all inclusive in my whole live. Stuff was super friendly, we felt like we were at home there. The beach was clean, sea was amazing and we could find sun beds at every time of the day. Our room was a bit far from the beach in second part of the hotel, but we had a wonderful sea view and it was super quiet thereGuest review byElenaHungary

We stayed in Old Town which is an older part of Chania but is within walking distance of of the port, shopping and restaurants. We took private tours to the White Mountains and to Sougia (the most southern part of Crete), which I recommend, to see ancient Greek ruins and Roman tombs. Also we took a walking tour around Old Town to become familiar with the surrounding local favorites. We visited a local farmer's market for cheese, fruit and olives. Everyone was very nice and welcoming.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 10.0

Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.Guest review byKonstantinosGreece - 10.0

Palaiochora is a little piece of Paradise. Fantastic beaches , food and scenery. We hired a car and drove around the area, a little scary as the roads in the mountains are rather challenging. We hope to return to this very romantic location some day .Guest review byMAIREADIreland - 10.0

All beaches were clean and tidy. Enjoyed by the locals, often staying past sundown. Lots of tavernas to enjoy. Short walk to 2 supermarkets if needed, well stocked. Bought cheap loungers from supermarket, which saved a huge amount on sunbeds, as we were there for three weeks!Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We went during school holidays so it was pretty busy but the tourist high street was quiet during the day while everyone was on the beach. The food was excellent. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The beach bars were also good. The Cretans were very friendly and helpful. Crete has plenty of interesting sites to visit both inland and on the coast. We would happily return.Guest review byCarol QuanceUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The relaxed atmosphere and the lovely apartment at Falassarna beach studio apartments. Excellent breakfast served in the courtyard overlooking the beach. The apartment was spotlessly clean with stunning views from the balcony. Plenty of tavernas nearby serving great food. A lovely beach within walking distance and Big beach a few mins drive away. We recommend having a car. Also walk up to Ancient Falassarna historical site. It is a 20 min walk and well worth itGuest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It's a small town with some restaurants which are really good. It is more of a tourist village than a local village. However, the food is good, there are supermarkets and souvenir boutique. Additionally, there are some activities to do, and there is a beach. We went there to take our breakfast and sometimes our dinner, but we were more often in other places.Guest review byNaimBelgium - 10.0

Massive thing i wish i knew before is the bus system is the cheapest form of travel to and from the Chania airport and is fairly quick and regular, prices starting from 2.50 euros .Stalos was a perfect destination for all age groups , clean , all the bars and restaurants are family/locally owned and all the people are freindly and polite . The beach is clean and easily accessible .Guest review byKaanUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We have recently returned from an amazing week in Crete...
We have recently returned from an amazing week in Crete staying in Southern Paradise Villas. The villa is amazing. The bedrooms all have on suits and the beds are so comfortable. The villa is modern and fresh with everything you need and the outside pool area was amazing. Added bonus the weather was amazing. The local amenities and beach are very close too. Yes there were villas adjacent to our villa but everyone was quiet, respectful and discreet. And yes there are people living their lives around the location of the villa but that’s the charm This holiday delivered everything we were looking for in our time away. Sun sea, very lovely villa and pool and freedom to come and go as we please. The host Leo was lovely and takes great effort in maintaining his villas to a high standard. We will be returning.Guest review byTerryUnited Kingdom
