- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 616 reviewsThe best experience we've had in Greece! Beautiful and stylish boutique hotel, the room and the bathroom were very clean, we had a balcony where we could have our morning coffee. The staff was very kind and helpful during all of our stay. Buffet breakfast good and abundant. Perfect location, just 5 minutes walk from the peer and the main street with the restaurants, but also quiet, so perfect to rest. Thank you for this beautiful stay, we hope we will be back one day :)Guest review byAnnaMexico
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 476 reviewsWe were 4 friends staying 19.-27. May 2025. Very friendly and concerning staff. All was clean. Nothing missing. Rooms cleaned every day. Bed and towels every 3 days. Rooms normal size with balcony and pool view. Pool clean and pool area nice with sunbeds. Building old and charming. Last, but not least - the owners was so kind and friendly. Sufficient English. If we travel to Aegina another year, we will definitely stay in this hotel if possible!Guest review byTove HildegardNorway
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 16 reviewsThis place has an unbeatable location, just a 5-minute walk from the ferry and super easy to find. Being right across from Avra Beach makes it so convenient—you can literally just walk out and pop over to the sand. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. Staff were awesome! Aegina is a beautiful island, and I'm definitely coming back. When I do, I'll absolutely be staying here again!Guest review byKasimBelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 250 reviewsTotally exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend to stay here. Owners are lovely and friendly, but leave you alone when necessary and help when you ask for it! One massive bonus was the water pressure and hot water! Sometimes this can be hit and miss with holiday accommodation- I would gladly stay here again!Guest review byGemmaMalta
- From US$77.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 233 reviewsIn theory it was a basic hotel, but small details made it in to luxury one. Owner was super attentive, kind and fun to talk to. Breakfast was basic, but still had plenty of choices, even hot omlette and pastry. View to the sea and proximity to the beach of course was the best part.Guest review byTomassLatvia

The water front is much the same as many port town island fronts. Vibrant and lively with restaurants, bars and cocktail/ice-cream parlours. The large marinas are full of small fishing boats, large fishing boats, flotilla holiday yachts, luxury yachts and flying dolphins. Aegina is the home to the best pistachio nuts in the world and they are on sale everywhere, that and local honey. One street back from the front is where the gift shops are and more restaurants. In theory the back streets are pedestrianised, but scooters wizz through them, so take care, particularly at intersections, they don't slow down. At the far end of the port there is a large orthodox churches that is so beautiful, don't miss it.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The beach is the longest sandy beach on Aegina which is predominately lovely sand there are some mixed stones and sand at the far but nothing to bad. The water is shallow and mainly calm wit a big sand bar a few meters out I would say very safe for children The sunbed range in quality and price ranging from 20 euros a set with parasol to 12 euros which obviously also is based on location and convenience to the beach bars and taverna's. Some beds are free if you spend money in the taverna's We loved the beach and clear warm warms that September bringsGuest review byMichael MawsonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .Guest review byRosalindUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The location is quiet and relatively far away from the town, I mentioned relatively as the island is small so it doesn't take long to travel. So it's a good opportunity to stay in a quiet place with not much distance from the town. Still there are a few places to eat. The taxi will cost more to come there to take you to town, so instead of 18 euros you will pay 25.Guest review byIAKOVOSUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It was a quaint place with a nice vibe for walking around at night , especially near the sea at night . There are also some amazing historical sites to visit as-well . If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax and explore , thus is a great place.Guest review bysardar - 6.0

Public transport on the island is not great so personal transport is required. You can see all you need to in 24-48 hours. I’m glad I visited but I didn’t find anything to make me want to return. My travel companion is vegan and it was very difficult to find vegan options on menus, and none that contained vegan protein in the many restaurants in Aegina or Perdika which we also visited.Guest review byDeirdreIreland - 10.0
Pretty port a 40 minute fast ferry from Piraeus.
Pretty port a 40 minute fast ferry from Piraeus. Some nice shops and restaurants. Taxis available for trips around the island. We went to a serviced beach at Marathonas B - great for swimming and €12 to get to in a taxi or get an (infrequent) bus.Guest review bydeborahUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Agia Marina is great.
Agia Marina is great. I have been there many times and will go back next year. Nikos beach bar is the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are many places to eat and drink. We weren't looking for nightlife so I have no idea about what is available but the bars were very nice. The sandy beach is lovely and the water is shallow for a long way out so great for children. There are well stocked supermarkets, a great pharmacy and a lovely bakery. Basically everything you need for a simple beach holiday. People are very friendly. A trip to the Temple of Aphaia is highly recommended. You CAN walk (we did) but I wouldn't recommend it if you are not used to really steep hill walking. Taxis and buses will take you there. We always enjoy our stay in Agia Marina and will keep going back.Guest review byCassiGreece - 8.0

In general south part of Aegina is much better than the northern part. Perdika is a really nice place to stay, close to Marathonas, Sarpa and Klima beach (by far go to Klima beach). Marathonas is good for families with young children as the sea is not deep. Probably some more dinning options (other than Perdika fishing port) would be good, but Aegina city center is really close, not more than 15 mins drive.Guest review byIoannis MalliosGreece
