Also, a very safe city to walk around, even at night. There are lots of activities (a baloon, a river boat, two cables to go up in the mountain, churches, beautiful and large museums. The hotel: the staff, you can feel that they care for your comfortable vacation. they are so welcoming, especially the lady with short haircut whose name I cant remember, let us know every detail about the hotel when we called for information, then when we arrived, she met us with a warm welcome and said they could upgrade us so we could stay on the upper floor, bigger hotel room, not a budget one that we have booked. Other members of the staff were also very helpful, with smile on their faces everywhere: in the gaming zone, in the reception, the building itself: facilities:indoor swimming pool with outdoor terrace with a beautiful garden and comfy outdoor furniture. Pool is crystal clean, water temperature is warm enough to enjoy swimming even from the first seconds. What is also very important: nobody interrupts you while enjoying your vacation: no loud sounds, you have all the privacy, so you can relax. You have so many things to do here! Even if the weather is bad, you can enjoy your stay: Gaming space: Billiards, bowling, air hockey, table tennis, virtual games, cinema, indoor swimming pool with window on a part of its ceiling, terrace with beautiful garden and nice, not very loud music. Beautiful nature near the hotel: central park is on walking distance (although not very comfortable walk as it is on the central road), but when you come to the park, you can enjoy the forrest-like quiet park with big trees🌲🌲, children can enjoy climbing and other facilities, football stadium. A city with incredible character. Walking around the old back streets you see very old building some which are close to falling down but then around the corner tucked away you find beautiful little bars that have retained the characters of times gone by but have up to date music systems and lighting with such friendly staff. I booked 3 days in April for hiking and it was great. There are 5+ trails available: - Azeula fortress (8km round trip), - Ghoubani (11.2 km round trip), - Udzo - Turtle Lake - Tbilisi (12 km one way), - Azureti (~10 km one way), - Kiketi (11 km one way). Routes are very clearly indicated. During April there are no restaurants/cafes either in hotel or Kojori at al. But there are several supermarkets to buy food. To see the sights of Tbilisi, you need two days, no more, then it gets boring. If your goal is Georgian cuisine, a week should be enough (I already see some people saying they won't get enough in a lifetime, but I was born and raised in Tbilisi, so a week should be enough for food). The city is a bit dark at night, with little lighting. In addition, there are many empty buildings in the city center, not to mention the outskirts.
