The location of the hostel was perfect! Best rooftop in the city! I loved sitting watching the activity at the pyramids. The staff was wonderful too. Giza is a busy place with animals all around which I loved, but not the piles of garbage which I didn't like. People were nice and not as pushy as I was warned. Sheikh Zayed is very well‑planned compared to many parts of Greater Cairo: the layout, infrastructure, roads and green spaces are all designed for modern living. Wide range of stays and the traffic is OK.A quieter, more relaxed environment compared to central Cairo: less dense traffic (depending on where you live), more green space, more “suburban” feel Sheikh Zayed is a strong choice if you’re seeking modern comfortable living rather than the hustle and historic fabric of central Cairo. It trades a bit of city‑buzz for space, calm and better amenities. The location is lovely although the area is a bit sparse unless you like the typical fast food restaurants along the highway. There is not much to do in the community itself. The unit has a lot of potential but many of the listed amenities did not work. In my opinion the unit has not been attended to properly for some time and it shows. Dream Land is not particularly close to anything and is about one hour from Cairo and Giza. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. There are two swimming pools you can, but no chairs or lounges to sit in. Neither pool is particularly deep and the entry can be quite slippery and surprising. The nearby mosque is not overly loud, the market is a bit pricey, but is easy to access and has a lot of choices considering its size. And the power is not turned off for one hour as it is in Giza and Cairo.Guest review byBeverly - 10

The best thing about Giza are the pyramids.
The best thing about Giza are the pyramids. However it gets very hot there, I would recommend appropriate clothing with comfortable foot wear, water, and a guide to show you around as the whole place can feel like a maze at times in the scorching hot weather. It was an excellent experience. I was impressed how they brought me medicine that I needed as well as sun glasses that I needed to protect my eyes from the sun because I had an eye surgery. They ordered food for me, they put the heating on because I struggled to see. They organised a piramids trip for me as well. I was very impressed with their hospitality.
