The staff is very welcoming, helpful, accommodating, kind but most importantly very courteous providing an excellent customer service at the spa area, restaurant, bar and lobby. We really enjoyed our stay that we would recommend anyone that visits Baños to stay there and we are looking forward to visiting Monte Selva in the future. The location was excellent, is walking distance to the center of the city where there’s many bars, restaurants. The food at the Monte Carlo restaurant is not only very good in taste but in prices as well. The filet mignon is a must try. We enjoyed very much the thermal waters and saunas that were indoors and outdoors we had the hot tub and pool. Our room was very very clean and had a big window to enjoy the beautiful view. We loved how the guest house is desgined in such a natural way with the woods. There is a heater in the room, which kept us warm in the cooler evenings. In the evenings we could see the birds out of the big windows and on our spacious balcony. The owners are very attentive and helpful. They catered towards our special dietary requirements. One of the most beautiful places we have traveled to in the...
One of the most beautiful places we have traveled to in the 30+ countries we have visited. Lush green vegetation clinging to beautiful mountains and gorges with incredible waterfalls that will take your breath away again and again. All of this located below an incredible volcano and at the gateway of the Ecuador Amazon with so many other unique opportunities to explore. There are so many activities to choose from right in Banos (ziplining, canyoneering, rafting, hiking, biking, cable cars, shopping, dining out), you will wish you had planned more time in your vacation to spend in this beautiful location. Very friendly people. Pretty much all of the hotels are privately owned, making your stay feel more genuine and like you are able to more directly support the people in the local community. You won't regret making time in your vacation to visit Banos. We stayed at Hotel Santa Lucia and the staff were wonderful. We used GeoTours for many of our activities and they were amazing. They made sure our kids had a great time while making sure we all stayed safe.Guest review byCollins
