- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 299 reviewsWe communicated with the front desk via Whatsapp messages, which was super convenient, since we could do it at any time, even during an excursion. They were very responsive and attentive. We loved the hotel in general, classy and quiet, with beautiful sounds of nature! also, the fact that is not an all-inclusive concept, allowed us explore more places to eat and drink (although the restaurant gets 5 stars in my opinion too!).Guest review byIlianaUnited States

I am a travel agent and I would not recommend anyone to stay here , they are a scammer and their , they want you to pay deposit plus for electricity which is 700 pesos which they did not put in there description or policy I had to leave my passport because I told them I am not paying it. Then the room they sent me was dirty, the bathroom was very bad pipes rusted and mold filthy. The water was no good it was salt. Then electricy went away. I had a very bad experience. Do not go there and they want you to pay deposit and they don't refund. If you book it for 3 days and then you don't change your mind they don't want to refund back the cash. They are theif. Stay away from this placeGuest review byNatassiaJamaica - 10

I spent one day with a group tour around the city: caves, panoramic tour by bus, historical part and I loved it! I stayed in a lively area where on Sunday families were playing sports, listening to music, eating out and I loved it, The food is very affordable. Finally, I went by myself to the museums in the historical part again: Catedral la Primada, Ambar museum, Larimar museum. I ate at a restaurant next to the Last Columbus's house and the food was amazing.Guest review byMarinaPGuatemala - 8.0
Nice getaway, great for a long weekend.
Nice getaway, great for a long weekend. Good for girls trip with lots of nightlife and great restaurants,. What is great is that you have the convenience of using the dollar and US stores like Walgreens. So it is super convenient and easy to navigate.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 10

The entertainment staff made you feel welcomed. The dining was excellent. Great food and service. We were impressed. Thanks to the staff in the Rose Hall Dining area especially Darren and Trudy Ann. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the karaoke too.Guest review byJessicaUnited States - 4.0
Food was not good.
Food was not good. Service at the Buffet could have been much better. Rooms need attention. Lights need to be brighter, fans need controls, our door lock needed repair to lock. No water pressure in sink. The resort was attractive & kept clean.Guest review byElenaUnited States - 10
It's a quaint little town.
It's a quaint little town. All the restaurants are Italian or pizzerias. They were fair to good. The stores are interesting. It is a small village. We enjoyed exploring it, but there's not a huge amount there besides the souvenir shops, a few clothing stores, a few bars, a few coffee shops, and a few restaurants.Guest review byMitchellUnited States - 4.0

Kingston, the vibrant capital of Jamaica, is an absolute...
Kingston, the vibrant capital of Jamaica, is an absolute must-visit and deserves to be included alongside the famed north coast when planning your trip to this beautiful island. While many travelers flock to the stunning beaches of Negril and Montego Bay, Kingston offers a unique blend of culture, history, and authenticity that truly captures the essence of Jamaica. From the moment you arrive, the lively atmosphere is palpable. The city is rich in music and arts, being the birthplace of reggae and home to influential figures like Bob Marley. A visit to the Bob Marley Museum is a highlight, where you can explore the life and legacy of this legendary musician. In addition to its musical heritage, Kingston boasts a fascinating history, with sites like the National Gallery of Jamaica and the historic Devon House providing insight into the island's diverse culture and artistic expression. The food scene is also exceptional, offering everything from traditional Jamaican fare to contemporary dining experiences that celebrate local flavors. The warmth and friendliness of the locals further enhance the experience, making visitors feel welcome and immersed in the vibrant community. Plus, the city’s location serves as a convenient hub for day trips to nearby attractions, from the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains to the stunning beaches on the north coast. Overall, Kingston is a fantastic place to stay. It offers a distinct contrast to the more tourist-frequented areas while providing a deeper understanding of Jamaica’s rich heritage. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this dynamic city on your Jamaican adventure!Guest review byPauline - 4.0
Sad, overpriced and not very nice.
Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall. A poor end to a disappointing trip to the Dominican Republic which these days feels like a rerirement haven for expats. We left feeling deflated.Guest review byJonathanColombia - 8.0
The view was beautiful, but the drive up was not easy.
The view was beautiful, but the drive up was not easy. The food was satisfactory, but since this is clearly a place where locals come for special occasions, the Birthday Song - played every time a cake came out - was a little too much.Guest review bySandra KingUnited States
