CanadaBoth of Jenni & Jairo were so welcoming and have a lot of great recommandations to enjoy the island. The bedroom is modern, practical and it has enough space. Must: air conditionner was really efficient! Breakfast is so fresh and good!
We rent a scooter for 3 days and it was really easy to organize all this with them. Wish you the best guys and thanks for everything. It was a bit of paradise!

BelgiumWe definitely recommend Posada Lkjay. From the very start, Lindon gave us a really warm welcome. He showed us the main attractions and helped us planning our trip in Providencia. He can give you very good tips for a good price. The apartment has a big bed with airco, well-equiped kitchen and clean bathroom. The pool is small but always clean. Last but not least: you can rent a moto to explore the whole island.

AustriaMy time here was magical. Fernando and Naima are two incredible nice and welcoming people and staying at their place felt like a home away from home. The room was super clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you need including AC. The view from the property is simply stunning and located right next to the small airport, which makes it even more convenient. Sitting at the terrace at night, while watching the full moon rise over the mountain was one of the best moments on the island. I will definitely come back! Thank’s again for everything 💛

The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉Guest review byManuelaItaly

Getting to Providencia seems like a hassle, particularly for those who are not coming from Colombia, but it's actually quite easy and worth the visit! People on the island are very friendly, making it feel safe for solo travelers or couples. There are spots to eat within walking distance of the major beaches. Because the island relies on tourism, one can easily find a tour guide to take them diving, hiking, or generally from place to place. Old orovidence is an amazing island and people, it is more caribbean than colombian. The food is fantastic, poeple are are guenuinely kind. The paces to visit are beautiful, some of the beaches are tucked away and off the beaten track, manchaneel beach. It is quiet, if you wat to rest, write or be creative. There are still signs of the devistation from hurricane Iota, but thats because those in charge have been slow to remove it. However this does not take away from neopolitan ice cream coloured churches and houses. It definitely has a sea of seven colours. The island is beautiful and not crowded at all. However, it has a terrible stray dog issue. Especially at Southwest beach where a few roam around in the evenings attacking tourists. One of them bit me. If you’re traveling alone, I’d keep that in mind.Guest review byRonald
